Kinda frustrating that we are coming away impressed with guys like McLaughlin, Martin, and Reid while Okogie is part train wreck/part whirling dervish, and KBD has been solid, but not great.

The MVP might just be our coach!
That has been my take away. Our coaching staff got us to play as a team, and play for each other and not the individual. That is huge in my opinion, with majority guys just trying to make a roster some way or another they played as one and the sum of their parts was better than the overall talent on the roster.

I think the fact that the team has played as a team means 2nd year guys not putting up massive stats is fine. Okogie's shooting numbers are horrific though.

And agree with prig. Saunders has to look over both his shoulders because prig and fitz might be better basketball coaches.
Worth remembering that Ryan Saunders coached a team of Tyus and nobody's to a overtime loss in the championship game to a Bulls team seemingly loaded with talent.
Murphy has easily outplayed Roby in this game. Roby playing like he did too often at Nebraska where he would go through stretches where he basically didn't do anything.
