Started watching at the end of the first quarter and was surprised and impressed by the score.

I think Atlanta coach Greg Foster got a tech for yelling at Mitch Creek. After the tech he was starting and taking directly at Creek who just kept doing his thing. Not sure if Creek is skilled enough to be on the roster but he throws himself around. I kinda hope he sticks in Iowa.

Okogie and KBD are opposites out there in terms of their approach. KBD is definitely much more laid back, but seems fundamentally sound and efficient with his movement and shots. Okogie is just a tazmanian devil in the Corey Brewer mold - tons of activity level, for better or worse.

Our B-team now crushing them. Like the defensive intensity these guys have brought these first two games.

The energy really is off the charts. It's just summer league and it's just 2 games but this feels good.

Q - I made the exact same observation as I was watching today. They are such different players. So far this Summer League I'd say KBD has been the better player while Okogie is more fun to watch. But again, they are so different it's hard to compare them.

I agree with both posts. The only thing that's the same about these guys is if they can shoot they are gonna be at least worthwhile players maybe even really good.

I love this Wolves Summer League team. All of them are giving fantastic effort defensively. And they're all playing terrific defense collectively.

We were sitting a 5 rows up across from the Wolves bench today. Sitting court side together right in front of us were KAT, Wiggins, Wiggins girlfriend, Ryan Saunders and Rosas. Wiggins did not look pissed. To the contrary, he was laughing and joking a lot. He and Rosas were hugging.

A quick recap for those that didn't see it....

- Great defensive intensity by our squad, as mentioned earlier.
- Generally both teams lack high-end offensive talent, which made it easier, if you will, to defend. A couple of our guys, including Okogie, just couldn't finish at the rim without either short-arming it or getting it blocked. Okogie did have a nice baseline drive and dunk, but otherwise looked pretty weak on offense. He did make 2-5 from 3 which is encouraging.
- Defensively Okogie seemed better disciplined than the last game and had 3 blocks. He absolutely destroyed a couple guys with two of those blocks - I mean they should be on the game highlights type blocks.
- KBD had a nice game, but struggled finishing in the painted area. Missed a lot of shots, but otherwise played a solid all-around game. He also went 2-5 from 3. That's a couple games now where he has knocked down the 3. That would be a really nice development for his game.
- KBD played the 4 and 5, Okogie at the 2 and 3.
- Martin had another solid game off the bench. He has a moonshot of a shot arc on his 3's...kinda fun to watch. Can rebound the ball too. Pretty big, strong wing that is a natural 3 but played mostly the 4 with this team.
- Naz Reid is an interesting player. The dude is really big and strong, but also has quite a nice touch from outside. I'm just not sure about his overall fitness level and ability to play at an NBA speed.
- While some other guys had nice moments and everyone defended well, there just isn't anyone else that looks like they have a chance to make the team. Still, love the effort the coaches are getting out of this group.

That's probably more than many of you will ever want to know about a forgettable summer league game....
