Lower-Tier Free Agent Targets
Re: Lower-Tier Free Agent Targets
Some guys that are now nrestricted FAs now after not receiving qualifying offers.
Diallo and Stanley Johnson Pelicans
RHJ Nets Shams said the Wolves were a team that will have some interest.
I wouldn't pony up much for any of these guys but they might be solid bench guys depending on the role you envision for them. Diallo's points and rebound numbers were pretty good in limited time.

Re: Lower-Tier Free Agent Targets
Wolves have expressed interest in Rondae Hollis Jefferson. The Nets didn't take up the qualifying offer so he's unrestricted.
Seems like a solid all round players, however not a good 3pt shooter. Had a down year last season but posted decent figures in 2017/18 of 14pts / 7 reb / 2.5 assists / 1 steal and 0.7 blocks in 28 mpg while shooting 49% from the field and 79% from the free throw line. Has the size to play a bit at power forward, but ideally a small forward.
No idea what sort of contract he'll be offered, and pretty sure KBD will develop into a similar player.

No interest in rondae. Il rather play kbd or sign luol deng.

Hmm, I'd have interest in RHJ, but only if it came at a very cheap cost. He has his limitations offensively, but he can be a very useful defender. Capable of playing at either forward position.

His defense regressed last season. I think nets were a better defensive team with him off the floor last season.
I think kbd is going to be an equal type if player with more range and deng can still play. Both would be cheaper than rondae.

Guys like rhj and Johnson could be useful because of their size, but we already have 1 or possibly 2 guys already that are non threats on the wing offensively.

Apparently mudiay might get renounced to open up cap space.
Id give him a call first if the price is too high for dlo.

RHJ sucks. He makes Rubio look like an elite finisher at the rim

Neither Mudiay or Luke Korver received qualifying offers so they are unrestricted FAs. It feels a little weird to be interested in Knicks young cheap players but they really have done a solid job in finding guys and or getting something out of some of the guys they have brought in from other teams.

They might think that they still could get Durant and other players. So every bit of cap space helps
