I agree with all of Q's observations on today's game. It was a lot of fun to watch. I'll add that the chemistry on the bench in both games has been great. All the guys are engaged and really pulling for one another. At times they were louder than the entire sizeable crowd today and Friday.

I agree with Q on Naz. As I wrote in another thread, Naz had the highest body fat percentage in the draft class. If he just gets that down to the upper end of the normal NBA range he'll be a lot quicker. But he's actually pretty quick now and gets off the floor well. He won the jump ball against Bruno who's an inch longer. Naz is really strong and big with a very nice touch and 3-point range. He also appears to have a good feel for the game.

I really like what I've seen from Martin. He looks like an NBA player to me. Barry Brown looks like he might have a chance. And I want to see more of Brandon Mac. He's really long and super intense. His teammates seem to love the guy.

I was at the Rio playing cards for Thursday's earthquake. Crazy feeling, never experienced that before. Was staying at the Venetian and really felt the 2nd one. I don't know how Californians do it!

Naz shoots a really easy ball from 3. He looks trike compared to Spellman though. Bruno was the lightweight out there of the longer bigs with Spellman, Naz Reid, and Nick ward. That's alot of beef. Travis reid and Murphy are sting guys too. I liked what I saw from Bruno he did look more sleek than I remember in college. Murphy intrudes me as a guy that could develop in the g-league. That 3 he took looked surprisingly good and you can see little snippets where you think...hey this guy might be able to come in off the bench and play as a big in positionless basketball. He probably won't make it but I think he has shown a little something.

In general how did Naz Ried do against Bruno? Bruno got the best of him in the NCAA tournament

I was more impressed by Naz than by Bruno today.

Didn't really watch for that. Naz only played 11 minutes and this isn't exactly a format well suited to feature bigs. I believe Naz is dealing with a foot issue and they won't play him for more than 4-minute stints.

Not the main event, I'm a causal piker player. I'll play at Canterbury here and there. I went out there to play in some lower buy-in qualifier/satellite tournaments for the main, but didn't do well. I have a couple good friends who I was out there with that played the main, one if which is still in, day 3 tomorrow. They bought in directly, both are in a slightly higher tax bracket then I am;). I'm hoping I'll be going out in a week to watch the final table! The scene at The Rio is insane!

Ya that's sweet man. Massive bucket list item for me is to play in the main. I play in 250$ and lower events, I'm getting better (picked up my 1st physical trophy today) but I don't have 10k to burn to play in the main.

Good luck to your buddy hope he cashes and then runs deep

Brandon Clarke looked real goid in his debut.
