I would honestly prefer Lore only a healthy percentage lead of the wolves over ARod. There was an article that had multiple sources saying that if Lore is not unable to gather the investors to pick up the the slack, Glen Taylor is apparently fine with putting the team back on the market because he believes the franchise is now worth 2 billion!

I think it's more likely that Marc Lore could accumulate/fundraise the capital required to become majority owner than Glen Taylor yanking the team away and trying to re-sell. Either Alex Rodriguez finds a way to make payments or Lore will and he'll take a bigger piece of the pie. Those are my thoughts anyways.

Fun story I guess but I don't think it makes much difference. The original article stated Arod has quite a bit of assets but he has to turn some of that into cash. That's not always easy to do but still. The way Jerry Buss got some of the cash he needed to buy the Lakers he sold some real estate to Donald Sterling.
