Oh, man. What a lineup. They'll score 150 a game with ease.

Mudiay (MOO-dee-ay), 6-3, played in two games for the Sacramento Kings last season. In seven seasons in the NBA with the Denver Nuggets, New York Knicks, Utah Jazz and Kings, Mudiay has tallied 3,299 points, 884 rebounds and 1,143 assists throughout 302 games (165 starts). The Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo native was named to the 2015-16 NBA All-Rookie Second Team after appearing in 68 games (66 starts) while averaging 12.8 points, 3.4 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game for the Nuggets. Mudiay spent part of the 2021-22 season playing for ?algiris Kaunas in Lithuania.

I liked Mudiay in the draft. But I didn't realize he had such a good rookie season.

Take a glance at Mudiay's draft profile on nbadraft.net, and you'll think you're looking at a future HOFer. But his inability to develop a reliable shot along with never getting close to his defensive potential has led to an absolutely horrendous NBA career. How about a net rating on basketballreference.com of minus 17 and a career TS% of 48% for starters?

All that said, I can't help feeling just a little excited about this signing. Larry Brown thought he was a generational talent who would take his SMU team to a national championship and be the #1 pick in the draft, but of course he decided to go to China instead. There he used his enormous physical gifts to dominate against smaller players. Tim Connolly was drooling about the possibility of Mudiay surprisingly dropping to 7 as the draft night progressed, and immediately pulled the trigger after WCS went 6th. He gushed about him after the draft, both as a player and as a person. So I'm not surprised TC took a chance on him. He's only 26 and still the extraordinary athlete he was 7 years ago. I'm not optimistic, but I am intrigued.

Matt Lewis is a nice G-league player so I'm glad he is back. Kinda one of those guys that you don't notice but plays really solid. I believe his 3 point shot really came around as the season went on.

I was wondering what the Wolves would do at PG in the g-league. Now we know. I don't think Moore will be playing all that many games in the G-league with this signing and I was wondering if he would before.
