I"m watching the Pacers v Wizards game tonight. I love the way the Pacers move the ball. They're playing without Myles Turner who's out with a toe injury that will probably require surgery and put him on the shelf for 6 months. I loved Sabonis coming out of college. He's fun to watch - so fluid and smart.
Westbrook and Beal are great players. Otherwise, the Wizards don't have a lot going for them. I do like Alex Len as a potential Wolves acquisition. He'd give us some size and defense in the paint.

LeVert is also pretty darn good.

Score is tied 124-124 with 11 seconds left.
Re: Indiana Pacers v Washington Wizards
Going to overtime. Beal has 50 points, but he's out of the game with leg cramps. Don't know if he's coming back for overtime. If you have NBA TV, I recommend you tune in to watch the overtime. Two evenly matched teams that know how to play basketball.
Re: Indiana Pacers v Washington Wizards
Gov's Bitadze has been a defensive force in this game for Indiana. He'd look good in a Wolves uniform.
Re: Indiana Pacers v Washington Wizards
Wizards won by a point on Westbrook's two free throws with 1 second left in the overtime. Then Westbrook closed out the game by blocking LeVert's jump shot on the in-bounds play in the final second. LeVert was wide open and perfectly squared up for what would have been a winning three pointer. But Westbrook seemingly came out of nowhere to close out and block the shot cleanly without fouling. To top it all off, Westbrook beat Oscar Robertson's career triple-double record. He finished with 33 points, 19 rebounds and 15 assists.
I love watching that guy play - toughness, passion, and of course, talent.

Isn't he the guy who told his assistant coach, Greg Foster, to sit the F down last week after he hit a three pointer... shortly after Foster was on him to start playing better defense?

Lol. I hadn't heard that. That's hilarious. In any event, he was an impressive rim protector last night.

I see former Wolf and Lip favourite Kelan Martin put up 25 points on 11/16 shooting for the Pacers today against the Cavs. Pulled down 7 boards as well (4 offensive). Another one we let slip away.

I became a Kelan Martin fan after seeing him in Summer League and I was thrilled when the Wolves gave him a two-way contract. Unfortunately, they let him go and he's not a rotation player on a good playoff-bound team. On a positive note, Martin is another example of the Wolves front office acumen for spotting young under-the-radar talent.
