I don't believe there would have been any despondency at all had we lost after resting all of our good players like Orlando did. I think we would have laughed (like we did when Madsen showed off his 3-point skills) and taken some hope from the fact that our 40% chance was still alive. Don't get me wrong...I loved the Utah and GS win. But beating a depleted team starting players I had never heard of didn't mean much to me.

And tonight we're going to face a Pistons team taking the long view by resting everyone I've ever heard of except rookie Saddiq Bey. We'll win by 30 again which automatically will reverse 20 years of a losing culture ;-) , meanwhile greatly reducing our percentage chance of putting Mobley next to KAT next year. Come on Fincher...get smart and see what Vando and Ed Davis can do beyond the arc tonight!

If the Wolves are STILL playing those games after 15 seasons... with only ONE winning record season to show for it... board up Target Center for good.

It was embarrassing then even as the tanking just started... to still be doing that would be an insult to every Wolves fan.

Again, as I have said before, I actually think it's unethical to tank and rest guys that are perfectly able to play by falsely claiming they are injured or other shenanigans.

But besides my own personal feelings about it, I think Abe and others have made the pragmatic case as to how corrosive this strategy has been over the years for the franchise.

I doubt anyone will be convinced at this point to come off their position on this issue. So some of us will continue to be rooting like hell for this team to win and others will root for this team to lose for that 16% chance of getting a good player in the next draft.

Well, maybe we can't win 25 games, but we can always claim an ethical advantage over Detroit and Orlando. We're #1!!!!!!
