He was SEC DPOY and apparently has the mentality of Pat Beverly. 5 star out of HS and was Georgia Mr. Basketball in HS.

He's almost as good as Edwards from behind the arc. I believe Hagans hit 27% of his three-point attempts last season, falling short of Edwards' 29%. I believe they both barely hit 40% of their FG attempts. So they'll both fit right in with the Wolves bevy of guards.

I was able to wrap my head around every other front office's vision, no matter how stupid I felt it was.

I can't with this one.

So we got a young defensive minded PG who is an unselfish passer who is also really athleticism a 2-way deal. This draft had a bunch of intriguing PG prospects and some thought he was a mid 2nd round pick. He is a good FT shooter and his shot looks ok. It seems like a decent singing to me did people have someone else they were dying to get?

I spent a bit of time looking into this guy. So here are some interesting things to add to his resume.

He measured out 6'1.5" but also has a 6'8" wingspan. He had some nice dunks in highlights so he can get up. He looks pretty quick with the ball in is hands. On the other end he was SEC defensive player of the year as a freshman. Last year he was one of the finalists for defensive player of the year in All of college basketball.

So basically Hagens is a similar player to Tre Jones the difference is one of them hit their 3's at a good rate and the other didn't. Hagens seems like the type of guy you would want to be leading your G-league team (if they even play this year) a good defender that also plays unselfish basketball. It would be awesome to find one of those defensive PGs that can come off the bench and help a team for a few minutes a game. I'm somewhat intrigued. It seems like he has some legit intangibles and if he could even hit spot up 3's his value could be really solid if the D does translate.
