Stiemsma waived

Post by mjs34 »

Just saw on twitter that Steimsma and gelly were waived by the wolves. Once again I have to question the timing on the release of unguaranteed deals by Flip.

I'm not sure what though, because we can't sign anyone until after the 10th.

Have to get all those cute lil ducks in a row so the wolf can pounce on it like the rabid beast that it is!

Maybe dumping him so the sign and trade involving AK can work within all the other moves.

Zgoda tweeted that Stiemer could be back and that this was just a "cap move". If we could get Stiemer back for the vet min after we sign another wing I'd be very happy

As I posted in the other thread, I am quite concerned with this. That could mean we are just looking to sign KMart. This means...

I don't like that, but it isn't devastating. It is just looking like we aren't signing AK more and more. I hope this is just Flip throwing away a trade asset, but I am not sure.

I don't see us picking up AK. If we keep D-Will, he will get time at the 3. Bud will too....there is not enough time at the 3 to go around, especially after AK has said that he wants starter minutes

I think getting AK would change everything though. He is a perfect fit. I just want to cut ties with D-Will. I think he is a great player (future all-star possibility) that is being ruined by the Wolves. I would give AK 28-30 minutes with no regrets. I would even go as far as 21MM over four years with the fourth year being a player option. (pointless, but gives him a feeling of more power) I think if he is not a main option (like he was forced to be last year) he would THRIVE in Adelman's offense.

Edit: Read my post, I am a little over the top with my love of AK, haha. Still, I want him.
