Rubio for Capela

Post by Porckchop »

Salaries are close and Hawks were rumored to be interested in Ricky. They have a log jam in the front court now and the Wolves have a need at PF.

lol trading for Capela after passing on Wiseman would be quite a cruel turn of events.

Yes, but what are the alternatives?

I think it is abundantly clear that Rosas doesn't want another true Center on the team so the alternatives are find wings or smaller 4's in your hypothetical trades because that's where he's most likely to go. We all want a second quality big but he just doesn't seem to want one for some reason so there's no point continuing to search for gold in that river.

I have to keep reminding myself that Gersson Rosas is making these decisions. From the beginning he struck me as the mid-level bureaucrat who suddenly finds himself in charge. I think my initial read on him was correct.

You think he would've gained some insight to our lack of frontcourt help last year. I mean, KAT went down and all we had was Reid. Only Reid. Now we have .... KAT and Reid. Oh, and two PF who were fillers in a trade.
