People say he has more upside, but can he be this consistent?
Great road game by a very good team that is in playoff position and playing for a division championship!
I never saw the upside or the consistency with Teddy. I would say it's been since Farve that we have had QB play like this. Which basically means Keenum is angling for another unique type of Vikings heartbreak. For now it sure has been fun though.

In Teddy's defense he was solid for a couple teams that were saddled with an aging AP who was useless in the passing game AND running out of the shotgun. He also had average or worse receivers and never had a line that blocked half as good as this current group does! Teddy also had a coordinator that was ill suited to the talent on hand and did a terrible job of adjusting to it. Turner's offense relied on the deep ball, which they never had the receivers nor line to implement.
If Case, a guy who has looked terrible in prior years can be this good you have to wonder what a guy like Teddy could do given he was at least average in terrible situations!

In fairness to Norv part of the reason he didn't adjust was he had to play with all the negatives you just mentioned. Lets be honest though about Case...the guy is playing well. No have crap QB just plays well week after Week after week like this. Would I bet on him being a top 15 QB going forward in his career? idk probably not but its not that uncommon to see a decent QB have a really good season. Case should be getting credit for what he is doing this season. Its nice to think if he were to get hurt we have a guy that might actually be good backing him up with Teddy.
Do I think Case is the starter going forward into next season with a 20 mll per year contract? Nope, I'm not that confident with him, but as I said before, you got to roll with the hot hand. Just maybe he and the offense can do enough to get the Vikes to the SB. Heck, maybe win one once.
Let's just take it week to week. You never know when an injury could happen too.
Case has played well. As many have said, the offense itself has been a ton better then when Teddy was in. I do think Teddy could play as well as Case and maybe even better, but it's a gamble to mess with the chemistry. If it didn't work out, does it effect them? IDK. Hopping back and forth right now without an injury or poor play doesn't make sense.
