I'm having flashbacks to when I was stubborn and petty about Love

Post by BloopOracle »

I'm on reddit and made a few trade proposals to teams like OKC for Westbrook for example because he is likely leaving anyway. People there freaked the fuck out on me, insulted me the whole nine yards. I thought it was a huge overreaction but then I remembered I did the same thing when everyone was trying to get Kevin from us.

feels good to be on the other side for once lol

Well what were you proposing? Maybe I will freak out on you too! Lol

Like I have said other places OKC shouldn't just take a "Well he is leaving anyway" offer at this point. He is by far the best thing available on the market come and get him. Unless Russ has said he won't come back at all there is still a shot OKC could put a team around him and contend.

Love was coming off a fantastic year in 2013-14, so it's understandable. Now think about the kind of year Westbrook just had and it's even more understandable! It's gotta be tough to be an OKC fan right now, but they have to look to trade him. While I'm not sure they will get $1 for $1 value for him, I would think they could get a pretty good package of prospects and picks. The Lakers seem like the PERFECT trade partner for them.....

In fact, if you are LA, the path to relevancy isn't that far-fetched. Between Ingram, Russell, Randle, and Clarkson, I kind of think the Lakers could parlay that into Westbrook and Love. Now they suddenly have a competitive team with Westbrook, Love, and Deng.

I offered them a lucrative package of Shabazz, Dieng, and a top 3 protected 2017 1 st round pick

Boston and LA have the assets to get it done. OKC shouldn't trade him just to trade him, but if a nice offer comes available they should pounce. Westbrook and Horford along with great role players and a great HC would put Boston in title contention in the East.

If I was Presti I wouldn't do that deal. The ridicule that was heaped on you was well deserved but you probably enjoyed it. Lol
