The ESPN announcer said Rubio shoots 34%. His worst year was 35.6%. Who are these clowns?

Good point Ricky, just saying he's the worst shooter in NBA history would of been more accurate.

Well they did a decent job talking to Thibs. What I thought was interesting was what thibs said when asked about KG. It seemed like Thibs was about as open as he has been (which wasn't alot) but it seemed like it went along with the quotes from glen in he recent article. He said they were waiting and KG is a HOFer and deserved to have that right. It sounded like KG simply hasn't made up his mind for sure which honestly makes sense.

Great interview of Thibs a minute ago. Some take-aways for me:

1. Referred to Bazz as a "prolific scorer" and said he expects big things from him next season.

2. Said Wiggins has done a lot of impressive things at such a young age, but he needs to improve defensively.

3. Said all the players have been in Mpls and met with him. He really spoke highly of Ricky

4. Referred to KAT, Wiggins and Zach as the leaders of the team. Said all three need to step up and fill that leadership role.

5. He was asked if he's spoken to KG and he avoided answering the question directly. Instead, he said we just have to wait for KG to decide but in the meantime "we have to prepare for the future." In other words, whether KG returns is obviously up to KG but Thibs is planning as if KG won't return. By the way, a really good source told me KG hasn't spoken with Thibs.

He's a better shooter than some in the Hall of Fame, but I wouldn't expect your pea brain to comprehend that.

breakdown Lip

4. To clarify I think Thibs was talking about leadership from those 3 especially in the sense of them doing the right things on the court. I think that was more what he was referring to them leading the way in particular by example.

5. Interesting Lip on your source.

I liked when he said that some will have to sacrifice their scoring goals for the better of the team.

Looks like Tyus has seriously injured his wrist. I don't think we'll be seeing him in the second half, which means there's no reason to watch the second half.
