The Big Five - Wolves at Hawks GDT

Post by 60WinTim »

The Big Five in Africa are the Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhinoceros and Cape Buffalo. But in the Western Conference Playoff/Lottery Battle, the Big Five are the Clippers, Spurs, Kings, Lakers and Wolves. All five are in action tonight. Could be a fun night to watch basketball and watch the jockeying for playoff position!

The Wolves lost to the Hawks in OT at Target Center back in December. AP guy cited that loss as one of the many nails in Thibs' coffin. Hopefully we take care of business tonight so we can kick back and watch how the rest of the Big Five fair.

The Hawks started the season 6 - 23...

They're 14 - 18 since.

They're getting better... as is Trae Young.

Always raining on my [s]parade[/s] safari, aren't you Abe?!? ;-)

Yeah, they got a Trae, but we got a Tyus!

I think MN is showing that sense of urgency and the team seems to be playing well as of late won 4 of the last 5. Notable wins against HOU, SAC, LAC and the only loss coming against MIL where we played really well for 3 quarters even had a lead in the 4th,and it was on the road. I'm calling for MN to win by 6pts!

I don't know what those first few minutes were all about... but the rest of the quarter has been good!

I love Taj in this role as the backup C, 18-20 minutes. Been calling for this since for awhile. He's better utilized this way. Good job Ryan. He's a 3-4 mil a year player.

Bayless is terrible, only half decent if his shot is going in. Defense sucks!
