Yes. We win because of a guy, Rose, who likely won't be part of the long term horizon around our one star. Meanwhile our one star hurts his knee. I love Derrick Rose, but more of his minutes should have been allocated to Tyus or Josh. With no chance of making the playoffs, there is no point in winning games with guys who won't likely be here long term.

Like Im fine with Rose still playing its still good to try and create a winning culture and see what our team would look like with the young guys playing with a ball penetrating PG and seeing how they can establish themselves with a PG in that mold, I just don't like winning with KAT out. There is value in my opinion having the young guys in Okogie, KBD, Reynolds playing around a star in KAT and establishing their role on the team with KAT out there. That is building something going forward. I don't like when KAT is out us winning because winning mean guys are playing outside of their role if we were to be good.
You're all looking at this all wrong, this is our Robinson/Duncan moment! Next season our productive veterans are gone along with KAT being out most of the year and Wiggins going off for 30 points per night on 50 shots! The 1st pick in the 2020 draft is our guaranteed!
Well, KAT sits the rest of the season and misses out on All-NBA team. It's a win-win: more losses and more cap room.
As for Rose, seems like he would be great to bring back next season in a similar role -- able to carry the bench, and even provide something in crunch time.
