Belly fans are you upset he only has 3 points?

Huge win.
Spurs, kings, Lakers all lose (clippers play tonight).
We have passed the Lakers and now the kings don't own the tiebreaker.
Huge win!

I'm guessing Lip loved that 2nd quarter lineup.
Bayless
Rose
Deng
Toliver
Gibson
The all free agent team.

Towns with a big 30/20 game and it probably won't make the front page on ESPN's NBA page. Whatever.

I've been somewhat tough on Saunders as a head coach, but I will applaud that he's using players that were previously afterthoughts. That's been a big part of keeping this boat afloat the past couple of weeks. Now, if he has the stones to keep benching Dieng and leave Wiggins on the bench too, he'll get even more of my support. That's the direction this franchise needs to go.
Huh. Who knew Luol Deng still had some juice...

Now that he's in real basketball shape, he's easily the second best defensive player on the squad after RoCo.

Yeah, big night for us. Unfortunately, the schedule gets really tough coming up here. We just dug too big of a hole during that nightmarish Thibs/Butler drama early in the year.

Probably right but who knows. Still enjoying games that matter.

To be fair... does a player who doesn't touch the ball (sans rebounds) for the final 9 minutes of the game... really deserve to be on the front page?
Facetiousness aside... it's time for Abe's Less Late Than Usual DVR Recap:
- The 4th quarter was... bad. The Wolves best offense was literally broken plays off near-steals from the Kings.
- Calling Josh Okogie Corey Brewer v2.0 is not necessarily a knock. That guy while on a 10-day contract in only his 2nd game with the Kings nearly won the game. He was absolutely wonderfully annoying and out of control and destructive.
- Give the ball to Towns. Please. Set up something... anything for him.
- I can't think of another player besides Bagley (mostly the 4th) and Brewer who played even an average game. Barnes was 2016 Finals bad. Bogdonavich wasn't very good. Hield had a subpar game. Same with Fox.
- This is one of those Derrick Rose in NY games. The stat sheet may show 20 points on nearly 50% shooting (very close to his NY numbers)... and yet... I didn't think he played well. He took terrible shots at terrible times and the offense stopped with him in the game. It's nice that he can get 2-point buckets... but at what price should he be brought back for ONLY that?
- Great win nonetheless. KAT was awesome. Jones is so damn smart, he's a lot of fun to watch on defense.
- The Wolves have the same record as the LeBron James-led Lakers. But let's remember, the Lakers are only 29 - 31 because of James' supporting cast. And the Timberwolves are only 29 - 31 because KAT isn't a winner. Or something.

I love how deng has played. He just knows how to play winning basketball and can guard 4 positions effectively. You can plug him in any lineup and he find ways to contribute. I would lave to him back next season.
