The fact he was hobbling around and putting weight on it is encouraging, although that doesn't necessarily rule out an ACL. Since this season is a lost cause, I wouldn't be opposed to shutting him down even if the injury is minor. If it's an ACL, well, that really, really, really would suck.

I'm not doctor, but I don't think it's his ACL. I'd bet it's his meniscus or MCL just based on the fact he could put some weight on it and the way he was walking and holding it. Hopefully it's a grade 1 sprain like Zion. No matter what, I'd shut him down for the rest of the season.

If it's not serious I don't think they will shut KAT down. First Glenn Taylor won't want him out because he sells tickets. Also Kat won't want to sit because of financial gain of making All NBA.

I want him to sit also but don't think it will happen

I don't mean to be the keeper of bad news or a pessimist or anything of that nature, however, you can still put weight on a torn ACL and even walk on it in a lot of cases. I'll never forget Philip Rivers playing a playoff game against the Patriots with a torn ACL. That's my quarterback. Love that guy.

My point is that I wouldn't rule out ACL, unfortunately. We can only hope for the best.

I don't believe it's an ACL from what I saw on the replay. But it's true, being able to bear weight would not rule out an ACL injury. I coached a kid who had shattered an ACL, basically it was gone, and after rehab played on it for an entire season without issue. But from what I saw, it could be something as minor as pinching the fat pad in the knee, to a meniscal tear, to a spain of any of the ligaments. But I'd be surprised if it's a ruptured ACL.

Just finished watching the game. I haven't heard any news about Towns knee yet so I'm optimistic. Hell of a game from him and he didn't let Portis get in his head which Towns has sorta gone the wrong way at times those cases.

There is no way Tyus or whoever should have been in there for Rose. Now if you want to say they should have been in there for Teague yeah I'm down with that. One thing I think is a bit puzzling is having pot Teague have to guard basically a ball handling small forward while a wing guards Beal who is a damn good player but really not much bigger than Teague. I think sometimes having the PG take the easier player doesn't really work out well. Anyway let's take a step back from the big picture tanking thing. I want to see Players play well. Players coaches etc want to win. I bet those young guys wanted Rose to be out there and they wanted to win.

Meanwhile KBD was guarding Brad Beal down the stretch. Crazy and you know what? He didn't suck. I'm starting to get a bit excited about him. He seems to know how to play and the guy is big and long. He can handle the ball when he gets a rebound and is smooth. He feels like a weird approximation of Wiggins when Wiggins isn't really rolling offensively. He isn't the athlete a young Ariza was but that's another comp although I think KDM might be a more refined offensive player at the earlier points of their careers.

Okogie was a mixed bag and I do think there probably is a bit of a rookie wall type thing going on there. He is still starring and getting a pretty healthy dose of minutes and cheering wildly from the bench. Cam Reynolds did some solid things out there to get more minutes than you would expect. I want to see some more.

Parker with the ball off a rebound in the open floor is something to behold. This is the 2 game I've seen him and it's 2 games but he looks like someone that could still be a nice player for a team in the right role. Maybe his buddy Derrick Rose could convince him to come here for a cheap one year deal. I know I know it doesn't actually make sense but I hope we are able to find a young talent to take a chance on. One of the reasons the Grizz made their run was they took a chance on Zach Randolph. That worked out really well. Randolph was a player with production a large chunk of salary with some baggage. We might not want to do something quite that risky but i'd Hope we could find some creative ways to add talent. The good news is...if Ryan is the coach you know he might actually play people I think...I mean injuries have forced his hand but still.
