Friendly vs Fierce

Post by Renkln [enjin:6591222] »

This is what we've been lacking since th KG era. Sure, KG was more bark than bite but at least there was a pulse in territorial pride. It's always been something that's bugged me that this and previous teams before this have been push overs. Seems like these players want to please other players and be friends rather than take pride and stand behind each other. I propose we change the Timberwolves name...maybe the Minnesota Teddy Bears?

I say this because I see this

Your links aren't really working all that well, but your point is duly noted. I think we'd all love to see some more toughness and nastiness from these guys.

Playing aggressive with intensity. We need to see our top guys Wiggins and KAT bring it every night. Not just at home, or against the Cavs.

Sorry - first link should have been this (Ingram, Rondo, Paul scuffle) vs second link (Wiggins being clothes lined)

The only toughness I've seen of late was from Belly, head locking Afflalo - but even then no team mate seemed to step up to defend.

I get your point and it was one of the reasons I questioned if KAT could be traded. It's not that I think KAT doesn't have all of the potential in the world, he just seems soft. The intensity of his rookie year mentor seems to be lost on him...
