Bucks/Wolves GDT-there goes any chance of a 41-0 home record

Post by longstrangetrip [enjin:6600564] »

It had to happen sometime, and tonight's the night...and it shouldn't even be close. Even before the Wolves announced that Butler and Wig would be out, it was painful to think of Taj Gibson chasing Giannis around, but now it looks like a complete mismatch. Surprisingly the injury report only moved the line 3 points as the Bucks are still only favored by 2. The bettors here should jump on that line, because I don't see the Wolves keeping this one within double digits.

What am I looking for? Will KAT continue his campaign to run Butler out of town by only trying in games that Jimmy sits out? Can Okogie slow down Middleton, who is off to a terrific start, and (for the love of God) maybe make 50% of his shots one night? That's about all I got...I think I'll sit this one out like Jimmy and Andrew.

Lol a 2 pt line is crazy. We're gonna get destroyed tonight. The Bucks are legit.

I guess neither of our wings are officially "out" tonight, only questionable...Wig says he is 50/50. Sounds like Jimmy might have a hangover. That's why the line only moved 3 points, I imagine.

Even if both played this is still a bad matchup for us. They are a volume 3pt shooting team and not even Jimmy can effectively guard Giannis. That's our biggest Kryptonite.

On the Dane Moore podcast they said the Bucks problems last year were 3 point shooting and rebounding. They said so far (at the time of the podcast) the Bucks have hit the most 3 pointers and are 5th in rebounding...um I was gonna make thisba positive post about how we had a chance. I failed.

On the bright side they said the Wolves defense is actually evolving under Thibs so there is that.

It's at home and if Butler is out,. KAT may tear it up. Other then that there is no reason if both Butler and KAT are out this game should be close. Wolves are/were a great home team last season. Maybe that trend helps keep the game close.

Wolves getting up 3's missing them but staying in this game. Taj has been pretty good on GF so far. Stoned him a couple times which is impressive. Okogie taking a charge.
