Post by Monster »

Listening to this one on the radio. Okogie starting for Rose who is out with "rest". Wish I could see this one.

Kat looks like he's in a zone.

And the bench was probably worse than the what is being shown in boxscore.

Taj not playing after twisting his ankle I hope Nunnally gets some decent run. CJ Williams had a nice stint in the first half going 3-4.

Not watching, but just checked the box score...no good, except for Towns. Tonight it looks like the bench is letting us down...Jones is a -15 and Tolliver is a -16. The defense is a disaster again tonight with another 60 point half.

I know Wiggins bashing has reached "dead horse bashing" level, but since I haven't been a participant, I'm going to vent a little. It looks like this will be his 4th consecutive horrible game. So far he is shooting 12-33 in preseason and has 1 (one) assist. Those are not the numbers of a max contract guy...more like a journeyman. Since he seemed to have his best games last year when Butler was out, I was holding on to some Wig optimism for this season...but it's evaporating rapidly. His preseason play is the worst we have seen from him, at least on the offensive side of the ball.

Bigtime chants of "We want Rose" can be heard in the background and Alan Horton says they are pretty loud. Kinda funny.

It seems like CJ williams played well in this game and that's not just from the box score. Horton mentioned his name with some solid to nice plays. I was hoping to see Nunnally with Rose out. CJ is pretty clearly ahead of Nunnally and to some extent that makes sense but it also seems weird Nunnally hasn't gotten a little more run especially tonight.

C'mon Glen, this just isn't working. Pull the plug and let's move on. I'm convinced that Thibs really doesn't know how to coach defense in this era.
