I have wanted Towns and Wiggins to get called out publicly for awhile now but I never thought it would be this widespread it's incredible! I get there is Jimmy drama and people hate Thibs but we have two young uber talented players who have been feeling themselves a bit too much (in different ways) If they don't rise up from this scrutiny then we were never going anywhere with them anyway in my opinion so I'm all for it!

Incredible is one way to describe it lol. It's just crazy at this point. Report, comments, info coming from multiple sources, sides, perspectives. Some lining up, some not lol.

It's difficult to know what's going on here, and difficult to find anyone to like among Glen, Thibs, Wig, KAT, Butler. But hearing a hard nosed guy like Paul George side with Butler just a couple days after Butler's return led to "the best practice of the year" according to some players makes me look at Jimmy a little more favorably. I don't think a trade is going to end up well, because it seems like an MNA vet like George doesn't think much of our "cornerstones". I'm not optimistic about the prospects of this team going forward with KAT, Wig and pieces. Jimmy is a weird guy to say the least, but I like our chances much better with our "cornerstones" in a subordinate role to him. So I'm going to continue to hope that Jimmy is "sending a message" in a bizarre way to light a fire underneath two uber-talented guys who he doesn't see as ready yet to win, and that all trades continue to fall through.

You and Jimmy both. JImmy says he doesn't lie, Says in players meeting he told him his problem was with FO, but yet PG says he isn't taking on the organization, and talks about guys playing hard.

The video I had only had PG response I didn't hear what the question it was that he was responding too. Context matters. I doubt you will find an NBA player that doesn't have a ton of respect for Butler the way he has made himself into a top level player.

I mainly agree, Doper. People are overthinking this issue. It's pretty simple. If you listen closely to everything Butler has said in his recent media campaign you can hear the truth. Butler himself purportedly said his issue is with management, not the players.

Because player movement has gotten so easy, teams like the wolves are forced to overpay, and give top picks playing time and a large contract without question. It's kind of silly, since the older guys lobbied so hard for stars to get such a high % of a team's cap.
