Well, it's official. We have been the worst defense in the league this pre-season, not that anyone would be shocked by that. Glad I missed this dumpster fire.

I get it the scoreboard looks bad and I went into watching this game knowing it was bad but...I didn't see a team that had given up or what lost or whatever. Guys were still playing it there and to be honest there were some good moments from this team the Bucks were obviously better which...let's be honest if coach was holding them back and Bud is a big improvement (likely) that is gonna be a pretty good team. I get it no excuses we shound be better than that but I didn't see a team that gave up etc. That just me.

Also Nunnally I kinda want to see more of him but on defense he is trying so hard he looks like 2016 or whatever version of Bazz out there on that end. He is absolutely putting forth effort and he looks more athletic and quick than I expected. I think at least offensively he can offer something and maybe if he calms down he can defend.

I kinda like Odom-Johnson as a deeep bench guard. I think he knows what he can do and he plays with an edge. He won't be here but I wouldn't hate it if he was. Terrible bounce pass to Nunnally at the end of the game though...yeah I watched it that long. Lol

Also Tyus has a really nice game after struggling the last couple.

I saw a team with no cohesion. And although it didn't look likely they've totally given up, it looked like they didn't have that extra spring in your step that's necessary to complete at that level. But again, it looked mainly like a team that's just not playing together -- a team without a rudder. It really did look awful.

I think there was plenty of energy. That first quarter especially the first few minutes guys were playing well on both sides. I actually do t think the offense was even that bad at times there were a lot of possessions in the first half that Rose created and moved the ball. I thought that first half Teague was playing hard the whole time especially defensively which he had called for.

Now when it comes to defense that's the real problem here nobody will deny that. It's where I would agree on the cohesion. Some of the above the break 3's...I can live with. Bucks moved the hell out of the ball and even some of those had good conests some times even from old Rose. Lol corner 3's left open to either be shot or to put the defense in rotation to put them out of their spots to defend the rest of the court was problematic. Should the wolves had done something different RT to guard GF? Yeah they could. It's preseason though. Should they be piling out their bags of tricks for a meaningless game? I can honestly see it either way. It was a bad game no doubt I'm just not sure Thibs has lost the team yet. So I think he is helping them as a coach be better? No I don't. Watching this game I was more looking to see if the team was done. I didn't see that. I'm still waiting for the answer at coach.

All I can say is that the Wolves' performances this preseason have been consistently worse than the caliber of the team's personnel in my view. A lot of that ties to poor tactical coaching, including but not limited to the decision to start Rose and give him heavy minutes at SG. But I see the problem running deeper than that. It has to run deeper than that to be as bad as the team has been this preseason.

All that said, regarding last night's game it's important to acknowledge that the Bucks are pretty darn good. They've added nice pieces this summer, the Greek Freak looks even better and they have a heck of a head coach. The status of the Milwaukee Bucks should make Pat Riley want Butler even more.

From a talent perspective we are better than average. But as of right now with this coach and front office, we are the worst team in the NBA.

Biggest reason for this change is budenholzer. They are playing faster, spreading the floor, and allowing guys like giannis and bledsoe to attack downhill. This is how the wolves should be playing rather than the slow half court iso offense that only caters to thibbs' exbulls.

I'll add that Bledsoe had a low key pretty good season for the Bucks last year. Look up the stats.
