What point is that? That it's better to just quit on your teammates than bond together?
That his maxed out teammates just aren't good enough.
Towns tonight has been doing this crap for a while now. He's a foul machine now. He's either picking up fouls quickly or he's a turnstile. Is John Calipari the only coach who can get anything out of Towns defensively? He can say what he wants, but his mind is not here right now.

Yeah he's exactly the same of what I remembered from his last stint with the Wolves. Awful. The way people were talking up his signing I assumed it was a different player.
Did you guys watch the game? Were there just a bunch of open 3's that he didn't take that I missed? No. He was covered the whole game. The solution to the problem isn't taking heavily contested 3's. It's generating more open one's of which he had maybe 1 chance to take a relatively uncontested 3 tonight.

When was he wide open for 3's? Don't you think that's significant that the Spurs were closely guarding him out there? He had 2 assists his passing so far has been a pleasant surprise.
Missed the game, but happy we came out with the L. Spurs three point shooting looks like the difference. Wiggs looks like he had a good game, at least box score wise.

Isn't it his job to get open and otherwise not fuck up? He did neither but whatever. One bad game for Tolliver, I hope he gets better.

If we play like that we will win a lot of games. That was fun to watch even with some hiccups. Waaaaaaaaaaay better than I was expecting if I'm really honest.
Yeah. I quite enjoyed it. Everybody thought it would be terrible but really it was a fun game to watch

My consolation is they tried to let Jimmy win it by himself again at the end. And predictably he failed again.

If you go back and watch the game. Wiggins was pretty bad the 1st quarter but played damn good in the 2nd and 3rd. Was not involved much in the 4th (hit a big floater). Help D was pretty good. Could have done better man on man but it wasn't bad
The best stretch for the Wolves was late 3rd quarter when the lineup was Tyus, Gorgui, Wiggins, Rose and Taj. Great energy and effort from Gorgui tonight. He was solid. Tyus played well on both ends. Loved the effort from Rose, but his shooting.... Yuck. Obviously, Teague played a great game tonight. I loved how aggressive he was and how he increased the pace of the offense. If he plays like this every game, he'll earn his $19 million.
KAT was horrible. Jimmy was OK late. You can tell he's not in game shape. But there's no way I'd blame this loss on Jimmy. Wiggins played well overall with a great hustle play stealing the ball during that stretch in the late 3rd or early 4th. But then we saw bad Andrew just let DeRozan go by in the 4th, looking lethargic, not moving his feet with any urgency or even putting his hands up.
I was worried about Wolves players being distracted by the whole Jimmy drama. But the only Wolves player who looked distracted was KAT. I'm a big fan of KAT. Nevertheless, I'll say unequivocally that he needs to get his head out of his ass and toughen up - a lot!!
