Rose's Line looks bad with the 4-16 and he didn't get the memo about not challenging McGee (that guy was really shuting them down at the rim) but he also had 7 assists and 7 rebounds and again keeps playing with a lot of effort and energy. He was a +2. I'd like to have seen Okogie get a little run there towards the end but I also can see playing a vet like Rose down the stretch of a close game over a 20 year old rookie and I'm about as high on Okogie as anyone here. Rose was a mixed bag again but he gives you something and like Dane more and his guys from Zone coverage mention he is invested in this team. He really seems to care. What Tose is giving this team this season is honestly a positive for Thibs overall especially considering he pace Rose infuses.

Nah, time to deal Butler and Teague.

I think Teague has played well offensively this year but tonight he was not as good. He didn't pull the trigger on some 3's and too many times didn't get it to Towns on the perimeter when he was open.

Towns is setting MUCH better screens though. VERY excited about that.

I'm not against dealing any of them. Is there a market for Wiggins?

Not a good enough one, in my opinion. If you move Butler and Teague making Wiggins the #2 option then maybe he shows out and improves himself or improves his value.

Butler is playing well, and we will lose him. Move him while the value is high/before injure.

As for teague, I'd move him first. Can't stand watching him play/attempt to lead our offense aka 15 seconds of dribbling with inadequate vision. I can see the argument against trading Butler right now - I can't with teague.

I'd rather see a Rose/Tyus PG rotation at this point.

Try to get two wings back between Butler/Teague.

It just shows how over matched Thibs is. Why not put Okogie in when up 5 late, and can always throw teague or rose back in if the lakers score. Take advantage of the resources available to you Thibs.

I think Thibs was worried that Okogie would foul (rose almost did anyways). Okogie is super aggressive on D and didn't want to pick up a silly foul. But I agree though, no reason why Rose should play the last 16 minutes to close it and Okogie getting 0 4th quarter minutes.

I actually don't mind Thibs decision tonight. Okogie played a hell of a first 3 quarters. Let that confidence build. Having the vets close out proved to be the right move. There were missed shots but no terrible fouls or mistakes.

I understand your point. Just in general though I think it is hard for anyone to play 16 straight minutes, like rose did. Wish they gave him a little break.

I agree although I never saw Rose look tired but I wasn't watching super close. The last few minutes there was plenty of game stoppages for time outs and such.

Rose... what a mixed bag.

Yes. You have to appreciate guys who play hard. But why not play hard... and smart?

He can be incredibly frustrating to watch. At one point, he'd taken 14 shots in 18 minutes. Even Jamal Crawford would blush...
