Ask Wig. It's a fair question after Wig's post-game stupidity last night (which I'm sure he regrets today). And while Wig should have kept his thoughts to himself after such a poor performance, I know where he was coming from. A "good fan" keeps the noise level down when his team is at the free throw line, but I gotta believe Wig heard the loud grumbling and moaning while he was lining up his shot, and the distraction certainly didn't help. Heck, even my 12-year-old little brother (from the Big Brother program) was telling everyone to shut up during Wig's free throws.

There are reasons home teams win a large majority of their games, and fan behavior is one of them. A "good fan" gets rowdy and loud when his team is on a run and the other team is trying to run its offense, and shuts up when his team is running its offense...especially when one of its players is at the line. Two people (or groups) need to STFU...the "shitty fans", and Andrew Wiggins.

You are never going to be able to control other fans behaviors or really hardly at all at times. It's up to the player to put up and shut them up, wether it's at home or on the road. That should be the attitude. I'm not saying booing Wiggins was fair or something I would do. That's just being a DBag fan.

I'm a realistic fan but also expect high levels of effort by the players and excellent performance by the coaches and GMs. If not find another one until you do.

Ah ok I just read the comments so now the poll makes sense. It sounds like from what some media said on Twitter that what Wiggins said in person doesn't sound as bad as the quote. They still said he shouldn't have said it and I agree but I also don't think it's a big deal. He isn't wrong. :) There are some real nasty stuff out there. He could have gone more diplomatic when answering that question but people want to see some fire out of him so...there you go. Lol

A disenchanted one. I don't have it in me to boo him anymore because I don't care.

I'm an idiotic loyal fan. This team has done nothing since it's inception to earn my loyalty but I keep coming back. I want a new owner but deep down inside I know that won't really help either.

I'm a ground level fan.

Wigs is right that some Minnesota fans suck, you can see it on this board, you can hear it watching.the Wolves, the Vikings, Twins, etc . . .

We are especially critical of athletes that sign big deals . . . Garnett (couldn't carry a team through playoffs), Mauer (lazy after he got big contract), Love, Wiggins, Towns . . .  soft soft soft. Herschel Walker. Randy Moss. Kirk Cousins. We are most critical of these highly paid athletes. Some make the hall of fame. Some are just good. But we are highly critical of highly paid players. It's likely a German thing. I call it Minnesota nice.

The criticism for the most part is very fair. I never criticized KG or Randy Moss. Moss was too talented for me to criticize. Even if he did take plays off "too rest". or whatever. It might have kept him fresher for running all those deep go's.

KG was a stud and played hard. No need to criticize that. His teammates mostly sucked. Why criticize the best player on the team who plays the hardest? Silly.

The others on your list all have issues from not playing hard to not being very talented. So I see it as well deserved.

Every player on that list has proven to be an above average player or all-star level performer... or at the very least... an average player.

Except for Andrew Wiggins. :)
