Brooklynn is no joke. I've been wondering what Russell's numbers have been since Lavert went down. This Kurucs guy has had a couple nice games recently.

I'm not saying they are a joke, but they are only 11-18 in a weak East Conference (2-11 against the west). We have concluded here that the Butler trade was good for both teams...if the key players stay healthy. But what we found out tonight was evidence that both teams might struggle if Butler or RoCo are hurt. And the good news for the Wolves? One of these players is much more brittle than the other.

To be fair Covington played 80 games last season and before that he missed about as many games as Butler tends to miss so...Covington hasn't looked as good these last 2 games after sitting out one.
The 76ers followed up their terrible home loss to the Nets with a double digit home loss to the Pacers...both with Butler out with the groin injury. He was back in the lineup today and they destroyed the Cavs in Cleveland. I hate to say it, but it looks like Jimmy is right when he says his teams can't win without him...the Wolves couldn't before the trade (and now can't win without a healthy Covington) and Philly can't win without him now. He's a knucklehead to be sure, but you can't argue against the positive impact a healthy 2-way wing like Butler (or RoCo) can have on a team.
