I went 6-4 there are some winnable road games in there and the home games aren't too bad.

I just noticed they have lost 6 of 7, and some of them really bad losses. CJ is shooting 26% on threes his last five and might be down for a couple games with an ankle. I looked at this as a revenge game that we would lose big, but now you've got me thinking more optimistically. As you said in another thread, it all depends on whether we can carry this defensive intensity on the road with us.

The 0-4 road trip quickly knocked 5 guys out of the race. Now we gotta build on a great win tonight and win 2 of the 3 road games coming up. Still only 2 games out of 8th despite a disastrous west coast trip.

The fact that we're only 2 games out of 8th after that horrible road trip is encouraging. But we still have to climb over 5 teams just to get to that 8th spot - the Pelicans, Spurs, Rockets, Kings and Grizzlies. I have no doubt that Wolves have the talent to get past all 5 teams and end up an 8th seed or even better. But I remain skeptical until we see this team string together some road wins.

2-6 after the first 8 games with two winnable games coming up, so the winning predictor at 4-6 might be.......................................................nobody! We have every other option covered from 3-7 or worse to 7-3 or better (just who is that one pessimist at 3-7 who still has a chance to be the winner?), but nobody chose the most likely outcome of 4-6. Since 11 out of 12 voters predicted 5-5 or better, you would think there would be a black cloud over a 4-6 result, but the potential for 3 consecutive wins including a road win in OkC makes things look a little better. This team is difficult to figure out, but the playoffs still seem like a distinct possibility to me. Need to win the next two though.

11 out of 12 voters saw the Wolves winning more than 3 of their last 10 games, and only one correctly saw this team going 3-7. That wise pessimist needs to identify himself and receive the accolades he (or she) deserves!
The voting versus the results illustrates just how much this team is underperforming compared to how we think they should be performing. Glen Taylor had a nice seat last night from which to observe a disastrous loss, and I hope he thinks a change can still save this season.

I'm too down after losing to Atlanta to tee up the next 10-game prediction thread, especially when it looks like we will start out 0-3. I'll leave the task to someone else a little more sanguine than I.

I was too high and said so in my post of my prediction I was afraid of a Klunker but we ended up with 2. It does suck.
