Taj Gibson: "You can't win without me!"
Re: Suns vs wolves
It's a players league , they win and lose ball games ultimately. Wiggins is underperforming in a situation where he's heavily relied upon.
Jackson, Riley and Pop didn't win games based on sound rotations and schemes as much as they had players with heart , skill and focus every game.
While Thibs might not be getting guys to buy in it's still as simple as them making shots and playing team ball. Those are two things every coach needs to succeed.

Yeah, but thibs also needs to put players in positions to suceed.
We climbed back in the 3rd with that last second jumper by wiggs. We should have gotten some energy back with that closing.
But the 4th, we were flat again. Our 2 pg line ups are getting exposed by everyone. The only coach that doesnt see it is thibbs.
Wiggs needs to do more when he comes in at the 5 minute mark of the 4th. But just like every game, hes told to stand in the corner. He doesnt get a pass or a look. Theres a reason why the suns coach hid jamal "one of the worst defenders in the league" crawford on wiggins. We are a 2 pg dominant no movement offense in the 4th where the other 3 guys are watchers.

Is standing in the corner part of the play call or lack of movement by player?

Waiting till the 5 minute mark to put Wiggs back in is such mis-management. It's to late in any game to be trying to find a solution there. If he's on a minutes cap then pull back his PT earlier and bring him in with 7 or 8 to go. Since Thibs has been going this rotation we've been completely in the gutter. It's horrible to watch.

At first i thought it was wiggs getting lazy, but weve been seeing it more often, not just from wiggs. Crawford was doing it while he was here, teague does this when rose has the ball, cov is now doing more of this etc..etc..
When cov first got here, he was cutting more. Now he strictly sets up away from the action to create space for teague or rose to probe.

Dont think it matters. Thibs put him in and took cov out. There was no point if the offense is going through our 2 pg line ups where the other 3 are expected to get out of the way.
So instead of wiggs not touching the ball for 5 minutes, he wont touch the ball for 8. Cov doesnt get the ball either in wiggs' spot. Its just the way our offense is set up.

Re: Suns vs wolves
Also going to add, that i think kat can pass. He just isnt used as much as he should due to our non movement offense.
Youll see wiggs past to him in the post, then cut through the paint to the opposite corner. Then he just stands there. Kat looks around and the other 3 guys are also just standing watching kat in the post.
Our lack of off ball movement is clearly by design.
