Wolves VS Mr Big shot (Belly and the Kings)

Post by Monster »

I know people are upset about Butler resting and all this stuff BUT I was thinking yesterday it was kinda ridiculous to be playing a guy over 40 minutes in a regulation game that you are looking to trade that has some injury history. I wondered if Butler would have something to say about it and quite frankly I don't blame him for doing so.

"Sources say Minnesota and Butler jointly established a loose limit of 32 minutes for games -- both to ease him back to full speed after he missed training camp but also to try to minimize injury risk for both parties after Glen Taylor promised Butler he would try to trade him"

TRADE HIM.

Some of the best trades in Wolves history were made simply to get rid of a guy... see Isaiah Rider. I don't see how Butler isn't more toxic than Butler.

I know they don't want to give him away like the Wolves did with Rider... but at what cost? This nonsense has reduced this season to meaningless already.

It's embarrassing.

I agree. Nobody is more toxic than Butler, even Butler ;)

I've joined the people who say nothing will change until Glen sells the team. He is the only consistent all these years of misery. Wiggins, Thibs, Butlers attitude, etc all are below Glen.

I think the Wolves get their first road win. Kings aren't a good 3 point shooting team aren't good on defense and are around the bottom 3rd of the league in rebounding. I don't think they are as good as their record and the Wolves are IMO better than their record.

I'm looking forward to watching this one the Kings have some interesting players.

Can't Bezos buy this team and move them to Seattle? I'm happy to follow the Wild.

Wiggs is out again.

He didn't look right since his return from the previous injury.
