We had the leader, Amilee Jefferson was the lead leader in the G League last year. I have a sneaky suspicion that Amilee wouldn't have made an impact on this team. It is hard to find diamond in the roughs. Hopefully we do but they are G League players for a reason.

But that's my point. If this team doesn't wanna do anything with the best G-League can offer at a particular need, why even have a team? Why have guys signed to 2-way contracts when there's no chance they'll ever get a look on this team?

This team's gonna go back to being crappy again real soon. It would be nice if this team could adopt an identity of being able to be lauded for its player development.

I hate to tell you we arent going anywhere this season without butler. And Wiggins and Towns are not leading us to no playoffs. We need players that are worth grooming to win. Wiggins isnt one of them unfortunately cause he just doesnt give a damn. Unless you are suggesting not dealing butler but thats for another topic

CJ Williams started multiple games for a winning team as a clippers team.

The scouting department must of seen something in Tyrell. I would say 90% if 2- way contract players don't pan out.

Its good to have a G-League team, hopefully over time culture and a system can be brought in and hopefully we can get a role player here and there from the G-League

Also we will be getting a 3rd 2-way contract guy because CJ Williams more than likely will play too many games in NBA to keep 2-way status

We don't want Okogie to develop bad habits on a losing team when he is not ready for his role to expand. Wiggins is not a max don't disagree with you but he is still our current best option and your point would be more valid if the wolves weren't 1-3 lifetime when Wiggins dosen't play.

Wiggins is here for 5 more years. We still need to try and get something out of him.

Weird to complain about the G-league guys when both of them played minutes tonight. If you are looking for rebounders you won't find them on the Wolves G-league roster. The tallest guy on that roster is Hakeem Warwick. It's interesting that it seems like the Wolves are going with a small lineup down there. The thing this team needed tonight was something I was concerned about with this roster considering Rose was an injury concern. Another combo guard wouldn't have been the worst thing in the world. Hopefully we don't have too many nights like this withsome many guys out.

We aren't going anywhere with Butler! They guy is a pussy, but that is why he fits right in with this team. He wants to be the leader of a team, but yet he doesn't want to lead.

What are your thoughts on Walton, because if he is fired, I personally would love to scoop him up.

I would hire Clem Haskins if it meant sending Thibs down the road.

The only silver lininig is the wolves are only ten games into the season and are already offering tickets on a 2 for 1 deal.

How does he not pick up bad habits off the bench but does starting? I think i am in the phase time to develop while you are leaning towards trying to make the playoffs. If we kept butler i would agree but him sitting every other game isnt going to help that.

I honestly didn't have much of a problem with Wiggins tonight. He actually got quite a few worthwhile looks at the basket and had 3 steals. I'm not suggesting the guy was awesome but he gave effort too. It doesn't have to be Wiggins or Okogie both can get plenty of minutes relatively speaking.

Exactly. I enjoy what I have seen from okogie. Both guys can provide vital roles on this team in different ways.
