Wig escaped getting roasted and shredded to pieces here tonight with his back to back baskets that sealed the game. He will continue to walk on egg shells and get no benefit and respect every game thread though. This is a The most important season oh his career so far.
It was fun seeing us win in ot on opening night on the road vs a superstar who put up 50pts.
Kat is at least 3 level above the rest of his teammates in talent.

Still super early but that Napier,Graham trade was a solid under the radar move
50/50 game that we won. Irving could have just as easily made that last shot, but Okogie was dogging him until the second he released it. It was a pretty clean look though once he gathered himself and he's made much harder shots. We called tails and it worked out this time.
Speaking of Okogie, he was a +22 in 14 minutes, LOL. That's a bit of an aberration, but he played solid defense and bullied his way to the line for a pretty efficient scoring night overall.

Wigs did make a couple of really pretty shots around the hoop late, but yeah, one has to wonder would we have even been in OT if not for his horrible shooting and lackluster defense earlier in the game. He was a -25 or something on the night, but he deserves a tip of the hat for those last couple big baskets.

Looking forward to wildwolf game report. The game was intense and brooklyn wanted the w badly. The wollves looked engaged. Great game and great first win of the season.

I've been a big skeptic of okogie. But tonight was like the perfect role for him. Limited minutes to decrease his bad offense. Get to the line (he was still out of control but got to the line). And let him clamp down on opponents best player in defensive late game situations.
Thought it was interesting. No Teague, Wiggins or towns on that last defensive possession. They went okogie/ layman/ Graham/ Cov/ Vonleh

Wiggins shot 0-7 outside the paint. 10-19 in the paint. He just needs to be aggressive, he also had 7 rebounds. Once again him making clutch shots changes the narrative on this game for him, but I can live with aggressive Wiggins who rebounds
