Motivation has to come from within. Butler probably rode him constantly behind the scenes. Heck Butler even shamed Wiggins publicly. Maybe there's a flame burning somewhere deep in Wiggins. I hope so.

Wiggins could eat a gallon of baked beans and still be incapable of lighting a fart.

Nice. Now I know what I'm doing this weekend...

There is nothing like being in a crowded room with 20-30 of your male teammates while a few of them spend about a half an hour lighting farts. Also we slept in that room soon after that...or tried.

I actually agree -- I think we're going to see an improved Wiggins this season. In fact, expectations are so low for him that I think there's a good chance he'll be in the mix for most improved player. We talk about his obvious lack of motivation and the fact that he only gets up for individual games that matter to him -- my sense (hope?) is that he's heard at least some of the well-deserved criticism he's earned, and that has pricked his pride so that this season matters to him.

Good to hear from you Sundog. It's been a while. You might recall that Wiggins lashed out at the fans late last season after they were booing him. That's a hopeful sign that the criticism is finally getting to him. And maybe this new coaching staff will also have a way of getting more out of him. As you noted, expectations are really low that he should be able to exceed them. It's worth remembering that Jimmy Butler referred to Wiggins as the Wolves most talented player. He mentioned Wiggins doing things in practice that were incredible. There's a lot there if it can only be unlocked.

"Former No. 1 overall pick Andrew Wiggins was burglarized in Los Angeles ... and TMZ Sports has learned the thieves made off with the NBA star's shoes and luggage. Law enforcement sources tell us the 24-year-old -- who's been in L.A. training for the NBA this summer -- had his place broken into earlier this month.".

Maybe this will motivate him. :)

The thieves were Wolves fans who decided if he wasn't going to give us our money's worth on the court they'd get it directly from him! Just consider it a refund for services not rendered.

What size? It depends on the brand what size I wear. If they are Adidas forget it they never fit me.

Also eBay is a great place to sell shoes...
