Minnesota was supposed to meet with Motiejunas, but there was a falling out of some kind. I haven't seen a lot of info on this, though. Maybe some of our more connected posters can add more on this? I had him as a guy that I'd target for some big man help, but I'm not too upset that we didn't get him. I want bigger fish.

Atlanta's supposedly listening to offers on Millsap now. On top of it, he's leaning towards opting out after the season. Neither are big surprises, but it's worth mentioning. Millsap would be a phenomenal addition in the summer.

He would be my number 1 target this offseason but does he want to come here that is the question. Also would a 2 year max do it or does he any a long term deal (he is getting up there in age)

He's been an All-Star the last three seasons and is averaging 18/8/4/1.5 this season. He's going to command a lot, rightfully so.

Al Horford got four-years, $113M. I see Millsap getting something similar.

He was in Minnesota yesterday to work out and have medical look at him (bad back) but the pelicans offered him a contract so he is supposed to sign with him today. Like the JJ Redick thing all over again

The last I saw he was getting a vet min contract from the Pels. If MN was serious about getting him they could have. His whole situation is kinda strange.

Great get for them. Cost them a protected first-rounder. Unfortunately, that probably means they'll re-sign him too.

The report I read said Mike Dunleavy will be moved to a third team. I wouldn't mind that pickup at all.

And the arms race is on.

Cleveland and GSW were already the prohibitive favorites... now they're getting legit guys for protected late 1st rounders?

Yikes.

Does the Korver deal mean we could get a late first for Ricky? I hope so.

Yeah, the rest of the regular season and playoff rounds seem almost academic at this point! These two teams are on a collision course with each other.
