I don't really care about attitude from bench players. We have much better players in his age group already on our team so I don't think it will be a problem because he can be put in his place real quick. I care about his basketball skill and how it would fit our team and I think it fits what we need. I also trust in Thibs to keep him in check and think Thibs could be a great coach for him to develop. I don't think we're gonna see a trade that shakes up the roster as much as a Ricky deal would during the season especially after our recent play. So what bench wings could we add without giving up one of our starting 5?

I was surprised when I read about Hezonja that there were positive reports about him. I remember that he was unhappy that they didn't send him to the d-league at one point because he wanted to play in games so maybe there are issues there although for some of these young guys playing games probably is a good thing and it's funny that a high draft pick would want to go to the d-league right?

It's kinda funny we are talking about attitudes when it comes to Bazz and Hezonja because coming out Bazz had issues. Now the only real problems are his lack of skill and mental aspect of the game. Could Hezonja changed a bit also? Idk another funny thing is right now Bazz is playing some solid defense. From what I read Hezonja is pretty bad on that end...probably a lot like Bazz the first seasons in the league. I always got the impression that Hezonja was a high usage type star (and he thought that's what he was) but also was a guy that was a good enough shooter that he might be able to play a complimentary role. I just haven't seen the guy play hardly at all so I don't know what to think about him.

Grizzlies are reportedly open to moving Tony Allen. Guess who should be interested?

Would we move Zach to the bench? Don't you think Tony would want to start?

I'm sure he'd want to start, but he doesn't have much say in the matter considering his age and who we have in the starting five as it is.

I also think he's a big team-first kind of player. I'd give him around that 28 MPG mark he's at now. It'd just be off the bench, and I'd stagger his minutes with LaVine and with Wiggins in hopes of giving them the less difficult matchup defensively when Allen's on the floor.

What would the price be? I'm not sure. He's 35-years old and is basically a one-way player at this point, but I think he still impacts games, especially in crucial moments. Would two second-round picks be enough? What about Muhammad plus a second-rounder? It's hard to say if that's actually enough, but I think it would make a difference.

Would Tony Allen be happy going from a starter and 9 straight years in the playoffs... to a reduced role on a team playing for ping pong balls?

I guess it's not inconceivable that he could embrace the role of veteran mentor. But I think a list of playoff teams would be lining up for his services ahead of the Wolves.

Who is better KCP or Gary Harris?

I was pro KCP coming out and I think Flip was too, but he went 8th and we then traded down. I was never a fan of Gary Harris, but he is looking pretty solid. So who is better?

I'll take Gary Harris if I'm choosing between the two. I think Caldwell-Pope is the superior athlete and overall physical specimen, but other than that, I think Harris is better in every regard.

There are more some tidbits after the Hoiberg article including notes about Pek being done.

You know what sucks about the Blazers having an off year? You can be damn sure they will nail their first round pick no matter where it is. It's what they do.
