Noel isn't happy. I wish the Wolves had something half decent to send over there to take a chance on him. Some people would say we could send Rubio but apparently the Sixers are serious about playing Simmons as a PG. I don't see Bazz as a fit for them either since he doesn't handle the ball well or hit outside shots. It would be nice if somehow this team could avoid some of the drama some of the other young teams have. I know I know I'm dreaming. Lol
Yeah, watching some of that Sixers/Lakers game was painful - some really bad baketball being played. It's hard to fathom how we can sport a record barely better than the Sixers. We can't possibly be that bad, can we?
Noel was pretty high on my list not that long ago as a trade target, but he just keeps getting hurt. That has really taken the bloom off his value.

That's partly why I would be interested in acquiring him because as a RFA with all his flaws maybe we could keep him at a decent contract. Of course would he be happy here since there is no guarantee he would start although I would guess he would play 25mpg or so. Idk in theory it feels like he would fit well playing with Towns Dieng or Bjelica. He doesn't have the girth this team is looking for but those block steal numbers are really good. If the reports about him Woj mentioned are even sorta bad maybe it's a risk the Wolves don't need to take plus like I said I don't really see anything the Wolves have to offer. Based on where we are at right now and how players have played so far in this team I don't really see any trade happening for the Wolves. That could change quickly though.
Boy, Chicago has hit rock bottom. After giving up a big lead against us at home, they proceeded to get destroyed by Milwaukee in consecutive games.
Heading into the season, I thought the Butler-Wade-Rondo perimeter trio would be quite an intriguing experiment of trotting out three ball-dominant perimeter players, none of whom are known as long range snipers. Well, sure enough, the Bulls are dead last in 3-pointers made, attempted, and percentage. You simply pack the paint and force them to take difficult mid-range shots. Their offense has really stalled out as a result.
Anyone care to revisit the Wiggins + change for Butler trade?

That Snell MCW trade is kinda interesting. Chicago attempts 19.6 3's a game. Snell takes 5.2 which accounts for over 20% of The Bucks 3 point attempts. He is only making 29.6% so far but I wouldn't be surprised if that inches up and his 2 point shooting drops off from a pretty crazy 61%. Meanwhile MCW has done his job keeping the Bulls trading staff busy and playing 3 games this season.

Yeah, the Bulls' performance in the past two games further cheapens our nice win in Chicago last week...wow, last night was just dreadful.
The Bucks have put Antetokountpo back at SF the past two games with Dellavedova getting most of the minutes at the point, and their success with that lineup might signal the end of the Freak at PG era. If so, they may be more responsive to a Monroe for Rubio trade, seeing as Monroe can't start there and Rubio would immediately. I'm not advocating for this, by the way, but merely just throwing it out as a possibility if Thibs is not sold on Ricky and committed to Dunn at PG. The Bucks would have to be comfortable with Plumlee/Maker as backup center for such a deal to be viable.

I haven't seen them play really but Delly has started every game for the Bucks this year so...I don't know if any adjustment to what they are doing with those guys roles is particularly significant. I would assume those 2 guys compliment each other pretty well. With GF there unless he becomes a pretty good shooter I don't see why they would want to add Rubio. It seems like Delly is the complimentary player that could be pretty nice espcially when Middleton comes back. Wouldn't Delly look like a nice player with the Wolves at PG?
@DWolfsonKSTP: Two brilliant NBA minds here. Lowe: "I would keep an eye on Minnesota for Goran Dragic." #Twolves
@ZachLowe_NBA: Lowe Post podcast: @WindhorstESPN and I talk CBA consequences , trade chatter, disappointing teams, more: https://t.co/asHec6NoW7
Other things to note:
- Windhorst says that the Magic want to trade Nikola Vucevic and are "kinda done" with Elfrid Payton. Also says that Orlando is a potential spot for Goran Dragic.
- Lowe thinks there's going to be "fireworks" at the trade deadline.
- Windhorst says that Minnesota's been very active on the trade front recently.
- Sacramento has wanted to pry Brandon Knight away from Phoenix for some time now.
- Windhorst says that shortly after the new CBA agreement, Pat Riley apologized to fans on a radio show stating that the Heat have to rebuild. That means Dragic is likely a trade chip. Windhorst also thinks that Miami may be the next franchise to try and tank.
- Lowe and Windhorst both laughed at the Adreian Payne trade, which was terrible when Flip made it and still looks terrible today. Completely unnecessary trade and he overpaid for an unknown. Awful deal. God rest his soul.
Interesting that we are so active on the trade front according to sources.
I really don't want to see any knee-jerk trades. Need to be patient with this roster under the Thibs regime. I'd move Rubio at the right price, but his trade value had diminished and he is starting to play better on both ends of the court. I would offer Rubio, Bazz and a 2nd round pick for Dragic but nothing more and certainly wouldn't include Wiggins or LaVine. Sounds like Wolfson pulled that one out of his a$$ anyways...
I'm content with this roster and the only move I really see necessary is trading for a big bodied two way wing like Luol Deng who could slot into the starting lineup if injuries happen.

That package isn't getting Dragic or anyone else relevant, honestly. Wolfson stated on Twitter that he hadn't heard of any discussions with the Heat and that it was all Lowe's idea, who was the one that brought it up anyway.
Wolfson also said recently that Towns, LaVine, and Wiggins aren't available for trade. He was pretty damn certain about it too. That's good to know.
