I think Dunn would have to win Most Improved Player just to get back to where he was a year ago which is really sad.
Side note: Jordan Hill sighting!

Fatigue implies Wiggins is putting in the work

Payne with the nice throw down.

Could this be the Payne/Hill comeback push?!? ;-)

That is the biggest problem our 2 stars don't make "do shit" plays on defense. Towns hasn't gotten back once and Wiggins dosen't put in the extra effort on defense
The coach plays them too many minutes. KAT was was one of the better defensive players in college and looked good on defense last year with Smitch's conserve the career philosophy to minutes.
So why does his help defense suck at the beginning of games also.
He also had the luxury to play with KG and WCS in college

A Payne brick and a Hill turnover put the kibosh on any comeback...

Didn't watch it. The outcome was inevitable.

He played about 1/2 the game for 35 games against woefully overmatched competition.
He's already played 150+ games at the NBA level... and about 6x as many minutes.
Might be time to put the "good in college" narrative away.

but then how would he be able to direct the blame towards Thibs as usual?

A couple thoughts on this game.
1. Loved Dieng went after McGee and ended up getting the benefit of a flagrant call because of it. He has gotten a little tougher like that this year whichever i like. The Wolves can be too nice.
2. Payne looks like a better player between him and Hill shockingly like a lot better. Some of that is because Hill never plays and only plays in super garbage time. Payne was dialing up nifty little bounce passes and stuff. Who is this guy? He sorta looks worthwhile. He might be the best success story of this coaching staff. Lol jk
