Wait, I thought we already had two of those guys in Wiggins and KAT! Or so I thought we did!

But alas, it's always the next draft that will cure our ills! Oi vey....

I know what you mean, but we need more good veteran players. Can't stop trying now.

There. I fixed it for you above.

I have no problem with a high lottery pick, so long as we auction it off to the highest bidder.

Lottery picks become veterans eventually. Hopefully KAT and Wig can by our go to vets as early as next year.

May be, may be not. All I know is that if you put a top 3 PG pick on this squad, they will expect to start day one. Great, so now we have a rookie PG QB'ing the offense while facing a murderer's row of vet PGs night in and night out. Another season out the window, kicking the can down the road again. No thanks!

Again, I understand where you're coming from and I get the frustration. What if the Lakers had traded the #1 pick for a 30 year old defensive stalwart like Bobby Jones instead of selecting Magic Johnson? Showtime never would have happened. You have to trust your scouts. If the consensus is there is a can't miss star at our pick you need to take it. And again from what I'm reading there are multiple can't miss guys at the top of this draft.

If we get top 3 draft Fultz or move the pick because it will have crazy value. Fultz, Dunn, Lavine are your backcourt trio of the future. Ball is gonna have a target on his back by the whole league because of his dad so he's gonna have a rough go at it. Jackson has too many off court issues to think giving him millions of dollars is gonna fix his immaturity. Get some established players if you get a top 3 pick, but not Fultz.

Who are some players worth moving the pick for (regardless of where the pick is) who aren't going to cost a bunch of money a year or 2 from now? Im skeptical of a worthwhile deal coming through. I'd be interested to hear some reasonable ideas though.

If we get a really high lottery pick, I'd go calling Chicago (Butler) and Indiana (George). I really like TeamRicky's guy in Philly too (Covington), although obviously I wouldn't give up a top 5 or 6 pick for him, but if we end up picking someone in the back half of the lottery, I would honestly consider trading the pick for this guy plus a 2nd rounder or two. He would look great next to Wiggins as a wing defender and rebounder.

Other guys could be Deandre Jordan, Favors (if they lose Hayward and hill), Avery bradley or crowder and a pick, Farhied, barton, pick. Wes Matthews and picks.

I have no interest in Faried-he sucks. Don't want Matthews either-he's over 30 and injury prone.

I don't disagree with you just coming up options if we get a top 3 pick to trade back add depth and still in some cases add another lotto pick

Faried is really solid actually. He's been in a stacked front-court all year long only getting 21 MPG's and he has a PER above 20, his rebound rate is the highest it's ever been and he's scoring pretty efficiently and he's only 27. Olympic team Faried was a monster on the boards and defensively so if you give him his playing time next to some good offensive players I think he could really shine as an energy guy like Tristan Thompson for the Cavs only he's a better offensive player.
