Yesterday the great stephon marbury tweeted trying to make an NBA comeback (he is 40 and has not played in the NBA in 8 years)
Today he tweeted the wolves are a for sure destination.
Now I know it won't happen but I would love to give him a tryout. He has grown up a lot in life and I am rooting for him.
Would be cool to see starbury as the #3 pg (or super sad)
Pull your #3 jerseys out?

I agree. I would be fun to see him close his basketball career in Minnesota -- the place he should have stayed.

I completely disagree and I can think of 20 reasons why this doesn't interest me in reality. I'm not a Marbury hater either. I think his 2nd life in China probably did a lot for basketball and it's an interesting twist to a troubled but IMO very talented guy.

That's a lot of reasons. Glad you decided not to share them. :). Of course, I honestly don't think he'd help the team. And he's never been a favorite of mine. But I like the story of a guy coming back to where he started and has admitted he should have stayed. It's just a cool story-line for me.

Ah if it's a story you like that's cool. :)
Ok since you asked here are some reasons. Like you I don't think he will help the team we probably don't need to go farther than that and there are most of the reasons. Because he can't help the team that's part of why I don't really have interest in the story which i also have some issues with. If they didn't want to keep KG around for one more year than I have serious doubts they are going to have any interest in a going away parade for Marbury. Also it sounds like he is going to play his season in China and then come over at that point...if anyone will sign him. So there likely isn't any immediacy to his situation.
