It'll give new meaning to the term "Winning Ugly"! So long as they're winning I just don't care.

Here is supposed pic of the jerseys.

IF this is what they are I actually like them. They look simple clean no cartoony crap and all that stuff. It sounds like we will see them revealed soon so at least we will have something else to break down. I'm looking forward to hearing Abe's creative guru groups thoughts.

Re: I think the new uniforms look terrible
Every team has four uniforms now, right? I have to believe the green one is an alternate that won't be worn often.
The other ones have grown on me since I first saw them. I didn't think they had much continuity with the new sleek logo, but it could work. I'd like to see how it fits into the overall brand/court/alternate logo stuff.
By the way, here's another less verified "leak" that's been floating around...

The jerseys suck but they could wear garbage bags for all I care. Just win already.

What is wrong with these design people? I expect this in the WNBA. The home uni's are abysmal, I can handle the road version.
Re: I think the new uniforms look terrible
Well now that I have seen the pictures and all that stuff of the actual release...yep I still really like them. Plenty of people do not like them. Today I read one write up by a fan that thought the Wolves have had some of the best jerseys the past few years. I'm a die hard fan but I completely disagree. That's ok not everyone likes the same stuff.
Some people really want more green. I don't get why there needs to be more green. I like these don't have so much going on.
Trees people want trees. I'm not from MN but when I think of that state I don't think of trees. The Timberwolves/Grey Wolf from what I have read doesn't just live in forests either. It pretty much can live about anywhere. No wonder we have been better on the road lately. Lol.
I like Jerseys but I really don't like buying them because I rarely wear them but I do want one of the white ones now. I could always put it on my Christmas list I guess.

Re: I think the new uniforms look terrible
I like that they cleaned up the "busyness" of the old design by eliminating the lines on the sides of the shirt and shorts, and even that was already a more simplified version of the old ones with the trees on the sides and the KG-era trees around the collar design. The wolf icon itself was already cleaned up by eliminating the trees and detailed fur, and I like that they used the basketball like a moon to give it a solid round shape after that weird horizon of pine trees with a giant wolf head over it.
I do wish they didn't look quite so much like the Wizards' jerseys, although those are at least decent jerseys to emulate.
While I'm fine without having a pine tree image in the design, I do wish they had found a way to incorporate more of the green and to go back to some of the original colors which included more of a lime green in there with the blue. Nobody in the NBA has anything close to lime green, so that could have been cool, plus it would pay homage to the original jerseys. It sounds like they'll have an alternate jersey that is almost entirely a green version of the blue and white ones they've already released, and that may be ok, but I think the light/lime green and blue colors go well together so I wish we had a jersey that combined those a bit.
I'm fine in principle with keeping the tree somehow as an inspiration for the imagery of the team, even though it's really only the northeast corner of the state that has a lot of pine trees. Do Timber Wolves even actually live in Minnesota anymore, other than in Isle Royale? I suspect human development and habitat destruction has basically pushed them completely out, so that there are only regular wolves/coyotes. According to wikipedia, there are no "Timber Wolves" in Minnesota.

So the wolves and the pine trees are not accurately representative of the state anyway, but more of an aspiration or an idea of what Minnesota once was before people kinda ruined it, in my opinion. I haven't lived in Minnesota in over 20 years, but even visiting the airport makes it feel like Minnesota is trying to convince visitors that it's actually British Columbia or Alaska or something. And the hockey team picked a similar name, the Wild. It's like as the state became more and more developed and less wild, we clung more tightly to an idea of what one part of it used to be. If it was truly representative, wouldn't we be the Minnesota Corn Fields? Or the Minnesota Suburban McMansions? Or maybe more conceptually, the Minnesota Nice or my personal favorite, the Minnesota Youbetchas.

A timber wolf is a gray wolf. The timber is basically a nickname due to its habitat, and we have more than our fair share of wolves in the state.
Think the uni's are pretty blah, but expected this because people tend to relate that to retro which seems to be the "in" thing. Would like to have gone to the green color as well, something similar in color to the old Dallas jerseys would have been nice.

They are kind of weird.
Not sure what's with the one line on them, at the top. I feel like it looks like they are going to the beach to hang out (more of a summer league look).
I really liked the old ones, but I know some were ready for a change.
