I'm just in shock that we are even talking about Kyrie Irving coming here. This would have been laughed at 2 months ago and now we are discussing it. Insane. Thibs has done more for this franchise in his time here than any of his predecessors. No GM/business side of the franchise ever had top 10 players seeking us out.

I agree with the points that Kyrie would be a strange fit and that it probably won't happen, but we have completely changed perceptions about our franchise in a matter of weeks. Exciting times!! Go Wolves!!

If the Cavs blow it up ... I covet Love out of their big 3. He would cost the least in trade and would fill a huge hole for us. Kyrie doesn't make sense with our current core. Further, any trade with Kyrie or LeBron would destroy our limited assets. Dieng + Patton + Aldrich + Tyus (or a future pick) for Love. Yes, please. We could dominate playing two bigs and dominate having Love off the bench...

Trade Wiggins for Irving, and this team is back at the bottom in two more years. If Irving is willing to ask for a trade playing on the current cleveland team, he is definitely not the guy I want on our team. There is only one ball, and I don't think KAT wants to see his touches go down. We will likely see a mass exodus in two years with nothing to show for it.

GS is likely losing KD in another year or two, as their lux tax bill will be exploding. Hold off making another move.

I find it hilarious that Lebron is upset upon learning the news. Talk about being self absorbed. He continues to sign one year or two year deals so he can bail himself. Why would he be surprised when someone else wants to do the same thing?

Lots of talk about this on In The Zone this morning. Trent Tucker, of course, is all in. I'm not, unless the deal is delayed until December and Cleveland was ok with Teague, Gorgui and the OkC pick. Don't see that happening though. A preseason deal involving Wig leaves us horribly unbalanced, and likely very weak on perimeter defense. I'm not saying this isn't intriguing, but I lean no.

If he's buddies with Butler as reported that mass exodus just isn't gonna happen. It's not random that Minnesota was on that list. Butler and Towns would both be under new long-term (that's key) deals when Kyrie's is up making it much more likely to re-sign. I don't see that mass exodus happening especially due to Towns. He has the least leverage of the 3 to do anything.

Kyrie is under contract for 3 more years. Wiggins is either in the deal or there is no deal. Wiggins is the only way we have the best offer on the table.

No way in hell I trade Wiggins for him. I don't want to see 2 PGs having to start. If they would consider Teague a pick and filler then maybe.

One of the dumbest questions I've ever seen from a reporter. And that's saying something!
