Some good stuff being mentioned already, but I have yet to see this point. Those additions of Paul George and Carmelo Anthony weren't only going to impact the on-court product, but they more than likely helped re-sign Russell Westbrook, which was the biggest and most important move of the Thunder's off-season. You can't overlook that.

You can't overlook that.

The issue is Westbrook. His outside shot has fallen off a cliff. He has a sub-.500 TS% while taking 20 shots a game plus the regular dose of turnovers you get with him, so that has really weighed down OKC's overall offensive rating. I have to believe at some point he straightens things out.

OKC's defense is really good. They just need to figure out the offense and they can go on a big run of wins if that gets figured out. This is probably a job too big for Donovan. He just hasn't had any impressive offenses in the NBA. By the time they get that sorted though PG13 will be in LA. A move that has really hurt them has definitely been Patrick Patterson. If he gives them anything they'd have a 5 man lineup with some balance. With Adams and Roberson they are really good defensively, but they just take a big hit offensively.

Bulls just won their 4th straight with Kris Dunn at the helm. I think he's still a bit iffy as a starting PG, but he seems to be getting better and they are starting to win games.

The OKC stars had as many TOs as made shots last night... 10 - 45 (22%)... and still won.

34 NBA players average at least 15 shots per game. Field goal percentage rankings for those players:

32. George (41.2%... career low)
33. Anthony (40.0%... career low)
34. Westbrook (38.9%... career low)

Despite all three shooting as poorly as they have in their careers... and playing like shit... OKC is only 2.5 games out of homecourt in the first round of the playoffs. I can't see them getting WORSE. I can imagine a world, however, where all three don't continue to play the worst ball of their careers...

My guy John Collins was back in action tonight. :) Mr. Collins picked up where he left off before the injury with 15 points on 70% FG shooting to go with 7 rebounds and a block in only 20 minutes.

LOL, the rebounding comparison tells you all you need to know. No one is surprised by the much better shooting numbers, but then you see he's better at pretty much everything else too.

Khansy's two favorite point guards - Rubio and Dunn - led their respective teams to victory tonight. Utah won at Boston, with Rubio leading the way. Dunn had another solid game with Chicago winning their FIFTH straight!
