The Nuggets lose again. Meaning at least for the playoffs, the Wolves are 2 games up on the Nuggets and the Clippers with 11 to play. If they beat the Clippers tomorrow it is pretty much like winning 2 games because we would win the tiebreaker. Meaning the Clippers would be 4 back.

Yes, big loss. This gives us a little bit of breathing room. Great to see an Eastern Conference team lend us a hand!

Things aren't getting easier for the Nuggets. Their next game is on the road against the Bulls and then the final 10 games of their season are all against teams in the playoff hunt.

Huge Win for the Celtics against OKC. Only a 1.5 games back and they have one of the toughest schedules in the NBA. Hawks are giving the Jazz all they want also.

Good to see the Celtics pulled out that win! I'm gonna watch this Jazz Hawks 4th quarter.

Flagrant 1 on Schroeder for a little swipe on Rubio who went down like he got shot. Tobias Harris should have gotten thrown out of the game for that forearm to Taj's face if that was a flagrant 1. WTF and these Jazz announcers are such homers about the play.

Jazz lose to Atlanta as Ingles couldn't hit some 3's late and Schroeder was only missing while at the FT line. He was basically unstoppable scoring 41. Rubio clanged a corner 3 off the side of the backboard and airballed another 3 in the 4th quarter. He had been hitting shots before that though.

Huge fucking win for the Hawks. Jazz and OKC lose so the Wolves move to 7th place and .5 game back of the Spurs and Pelicans and 1.5 games back of the Thunder

Heh, funny how we look at things differently. All I care about is squeaking into the playoffs as the 8th seed, so all I look at his how many games up are we on the 9th seed (2.5 games ahead of Denver with last night's win). I have no faith we can pass any of those other teams, but perhaps this team will prove me wrong.

Yes, Q. You and I are looking at this VERY differently. I have absolutely no interest in seeing the Wolves finish 8th and then get humiliated by the Rockets. I'd just as soon have another 1st round pick. I don't want to face the Warriors either with a 7th place finish, but their injuries might linger enough to allow the Wolves to be somewhat competitive -- maybe even win a game. This team has a chance to finish in the top 6. If that happens, the Wolves will have a competitive first round series and could even come out on top. That's what I'm hoping for. So 8th place is unacceptable to me. 7th place would such, but I'll live with it. 6th or better is my bottom line for happiness.

Even if we get swept, we need to get the playoff monkey off our back. But I understand your position.
