No we don't. We need to worry about an offense that features 1-on-1 two-point shooting. Note that nearly every shot all our players have taken has been hotly contested. Compare that to all the wide open completely uncontested threes the Rockets have had.
I agree that the offense is going to shit. But I am a little worried about KAT. Playoffs are different and he is shooting 27% from the field, 33% from the line. Also has 0 2nd chance pts in the series. I think we all agree Kat has a weird mental makeup. He gets into his head sometimes. Just keeping my eye on it.
I think it's a good thing, if it becomes a trend into next year playoff run I will be nervous but the microscope on he and Wiggins will hopefully put some pressure on them after being pat on the back for empty stats for so long.
I actually like Wiggins energy. He is struggling with his handle like normal but he is shooting 46% from the field.
17.3pts 6.7 rebs 1.3 asts on solid % from the field in 6 quarters. Can be better of course but I feel like Wiggins has been our best player in the series. And that is bad sign because Wiggins is being very solid as a 3rd option.
Watching this game, I'm actually now glad we made the playoffs as an 8th seed. I think KAT really needed this experience. He's a big time competitor so he'll use this humiliation and the criticism from the TNT crew to improve his game over the summer. I also think Glen Taylor and the entire Wolves organization may have needed this experience to see clearly just how far we are from being a serious title contender. I still think we might steal one of our two home games, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Shaq just called out KAT for something that has bugged me for a long time -- taking too much time before making his move. It drives me nuts and it has been evident tonight. KAT needs to make quick moves to the basket.
Kenny just pointed out a real problem with our offense -- failing to get the ball to KAT in the paint and instead having KAT fan out to the three. Watching the telestrater it was clear that KAT did was he was supposed to do leaving the paint and fanning out for the corner three. Then he ends up shooting a three with no Wolves players anywhere near the painted area for a rebound. That shoudn't happen at this point in the season (post season). This team is either populated by an entire roster of idiots or we have a coaching problem. That play Kenny Smith just dissected says it all.
A counterpoint...Towns is the best 3 point shooter. What post matchup has he exploited against the Rockets? If you get Teague matched up on Capela or Nene clear our and let him score on those guys or create open looks on the drives.

Agreed with what you are saying here. We don't know what are true weaknesses are until the playoffs and we are seeing it right now. You know I have been stating for awhile that who cares how pretty the Wolves offense is it has been effective. In these first 2 games we are seeing I have been wrong.
Butler shoots a contested two after only one pass in this possession.
Fortunately, he was fouled. At least KAT went quickly on that one and he was rewarded with a foul call.
Lead keeps growing, Wig still hasn't touched the ball in the half. The offense is stuff youth rec league coaches use when they don't know what they're doing.
