Looks like the Pelicans are going to beat the Warriors at Golden State. Bummer. The Warriors are really struggling without Curry.

Looks like the Wolves will be battling it out with the Nuggets Wednesday night for lottery balls or the chance to get swept by the Rockets. Of course, that assumes the Wolves beat the Grizzlies Monday night. Assuming the Wolves win their final two games, our best hope to avoid my worst nightmare of an 8th place finish would be a Heat win over the Thunder in Miami Monday night.

Still have hope to move up. Pelicans and Spurs play each other. Win out and the Spurs beat the pelicans. Also the Wolves have the tie breaker against Thunder. So if the Thunder split we can move up also. We just need to take care of business.

It sure was a dissapppinting night with none of the games helping us. Like others said there are still chances to be had. The Wolves are gonna have to win their way into the playoffs now.

You make it sound so simple, which in theory it is... unless you're talking about the Wolves.

The OkC win tonight was the killer. I thought they would lose and finish in a tie with us at 47-35, which would have allowed us to play the 3rd seed since we own the tiebreaker. But now it looks like the most likely scenario is that we tie with the Spurs for 7th, and have to play the Rockets since we lose that tiebreaker. As Lip said, it's all about Monday night in Miami...we NEED the Heat to beat OkC. They are a pretty good home team, so it's not at all unlikely. Go Heat! I hate to admit it guys, but if a win over Denver on Wednesday sentences us to a 1st round series against Houston, I would honestly prefer the draft pick. I may have to cheer for Denver that night.

An interesting occurrence is happening in the Land of the Mormons. Most of us here conceded the 3rd seed to Portland long ago, but Utah is red hot, and they will slip into the 3 hole if they win out (including the finale in Portland). Could happen...Go Ricky!

The Timberwolves going 3 - 0 to close the season (with only 1 game vs. a team with more than 35 wins and none more than 46) is not that much to ask for.

Literally... every other NBA fan has asked less of his favorite team over the past 14 seasons.
