Depends on what they are at odds over for me. KAT frankly hasn't earned the right to be a diva for me. He's a major reason we have had trash defenses since he got here. I'm not automatically on Thibs side on this one, but given the playoff performance KAT had I'm leaning more towards Thibs side until we get more information. A diva big who doesn't play defense well isn't gonna take us to the level we want.

There's no evidence that KAT's a diva. He might not like playing for a head coach who exudes negativity every second of every game -- constantly screaming and dictating every play on every possession. If he's grown weary of playing for a head coach like that, then it's understandable. And as our most talented player as well as our most productive player he not only has a right but an obligation to speak out internally. Note that he hasn't gone public like a diva. Unlike Butler, KAT plays every single game. And unlike Butler, KAT has a lot more upside left. He's a double-double machine who improved his defense the second half of the season. He's the player voted by GMs last fall as their top pick to build a franchise around.

If there's a diva in the organization, it's Thibodeau. And he needs to go!

The 8th seed is literally on KAT. He and Wiggins could only go about .500 when Jimmy when down. If KAT is such a star we should have been better when Jimmy went down. Look at what AD did with the Pelicans after Demarcus went down. That's a true frickin all-star. Sure KAT's an offensive stud. A lot of those stats come out empty at the end of the day. There just aren't enough games where you look back and go KAT dominated that game and we won because out it. He's also the anchor of a consistent bottom 5-10 defense every year he's been in the league. At some point that's on him and not his coaches. Horford puts up half the stats KAT does and yet he has twice the impact on the game and it shows in their W-L and how they play. There's more to being a stud than points and rebounds and KAT doesn't consistently dominate games with a cumulative impact that guys like Embiid and Horford and AD do. People are starting to notice nationally and it's why he's starting to get ripped more by the media. They see through the fake impact and know true impact shows up in the W-L column when you are great.

No. The 8th seed is on Jimmy Butler. He was healthy and playing when we lost to the Suns without Booker at home and the Wizards without Wall at home. He was healthy and playing when we lost to the Grizzlies in Memphis the first time and when we lost to the Hawks in Atlanta. Oh, and he missed over 20 games. I don't "blame" him for that, but durability an important characteristic that Butler has never had. So there are different ways to look at this.

Seriously, I blame Thibodeau, but that's another discussion.
