Wolves vs Magic GDT
Re: Wolves vs Magic GDT
When Teague , Butler and Gibson play well this team wins. So many arguments for why each one of them were bad additions. IMO Taj has been the most consistent /valuable player so far.

Yes. Taj is the early season MVP. Just so steady.

Yep, that shizz was peein me off. Every player is scared to shoot 3's. Then they end up missing a tough two.
Hey, at least they won, even if it was an outright atrocious 4th quarter.

Well, we won by 6, so that's good. But I keep watching this team, and I can't figure out why we so often get blown out in 4th quarters. 38-18 at home by a team that has lost 6 in a row, really???? There has to be some reason for these 4th quarter collapses this year and last, but I just can't come up with it. Unless....

IMO, 3 things stand out for me.
Tired legs. Some of the shots they took were ones they normally make. And they seen a half a step to slow. We are creating alot of turnovers, especially from our wings, and that type of activity expends alot energy through 3 quarters.
I also think teague and Butler put too much burden on themselves to carry in the 4th. They've been really sloppy with the ball. I really think we need to be working Kat more in the post in the 4th or run that double horns action we were so successful with last year. The one with Rubio at the top and Kat and Wiggins split at the top of the key. We should be running that with Jimmy and have Teague and Taj spot up on the 3rd point line. But alot of this is because the guys are still not comfortable with each other.
Another reason is momentum. When the bench goes in, the momentum swings in a hurry. And the starters are put back in with tired against a team with a lot of energy and confidence. It's an uphill climb that can quickly snowball.

I saw screw it forget Towns in the post he is the 3 point shooter this team needs. Want to post guys up? Let someone else like Wiggins Butler or Taj do it.
Teague needs to be really to fire up the 3's. He isn't a pure shooter and I think the really good shooters know how to locate a step or 2 to be more open. Teague is used to being a Pg a guy that's the safety outlet and the one running the show not sitting around waiting for guys to create a shot for him. It's a different mindset and I don't blame him for not completely figuring not out yet. On the other hand if he relocated and his teammates aren't expecting it that could lead to some bad passes and turnovers. We are all yelling at the screen for him to shoot more 3'a when he is open and it needs to improve. I think it will as time goes on.
Something needs to be done to get Belly more looks at the basket. They probably need to start designing something to get him open looks. That bench is a bit of a weird collection of guys still and Crawford is included in that but he also nails out that unit. Dieng actually played well in this game hopefully he can get back to being a solid player.
