Is Simmons a better shooter than Rubio?

He's a more efficient scorer. I don't think he's a better shooter though if we are talking outside of 10 ft. At least he hasn't shown enough outside of 10ft to prove he's a better shooter than Rubio.

He can score at the rim though rubio was historically terrible at the rim

Anyone watching this game tonight? If I was home tonight, I'd be tempted to purchase league pass for this game.

Good point, Doper. But the difference is that Simmons is 6'10 and athletic. Then you have his ball-handling and court vision, which are off the charts for even for a small PG. He'll have to improve his jump shot to be on track for a HOF career. But he's such an immense talent who is already putting up tremendous all-around numbers as a rookie. And while his jumper is a work in progress, he is hitting 50% of his FG attempts and it's not all layups or dunks.

Who would have ever thought the Sixers would be a "must watch" team? But they are. They just put up 47 points on the Warriors in the first quarter...Covington wes 5-5 on threes! Golden State is battling back, but what a start for Philly.

I think I said this in a different post, Phila leads the league in passes per possession. They play the right way.

His size is a huge advantage, but it pretty is all layups and dunks(almost half of his total shots). 3/4 of his shots are inside 10ft, where he's hitting almost 65% combined with his layups and dunks. Hasn't hit a three and shoots under 30% from 10-16ft. His shot is ugly. I think he can improve, and agree that he is a unique talent. But I'm sure there are going to be bumps along the way once NBA defenses gameplan for him.

Unbelievable game in Philly last night...after Philly put up 47 in the first quarter, GS did the same in the 3rd and came back to win! Dallas bounced back after its poor outing against us and beat the Bucks with 19-38 on threes! The NBA is really fun this year.

Brett Brown has been coaching the team to play hard on defense and move the ball on offense since they were bottom of the barrel. "The Process" is finally paying off as he now has the talent. They could be a very dangerous team if they can stay healthy.
