Such as the play where he tripped himself?? I still like the guy on the team...

My favorite part of the game was that brief moment in the second half where Dunn was guarding Chris Paul and in the process of fighting over the screen (successfully I'll add), Paul tried one of those tricks where he went into his shot motion for the sole purpose of drawing a foul on Dunn - he had absolutely no chance of getting a shot off - it was classic Paul-esque chicanery. The official and Dunn would have none of it. He just ripped it out of Paul's hands and off he went. Love it!

The defense looked great. They actually look like they know what they're doing and are doing it instinctively. I think much better times are ahead.

Bazz making the most of his start. Finally it happens after 2.5 years. Wiggins starts at the 2, Bazz at the 3. It took an injury for Thibs to finally hear me.

Rubio has been averaging 12, 6, and 11 since the break. Ever since his grandmother died he's been almost everything we wanted him to be. Even shooting about 42%

"They were Wolves," Rivers said. "We were not" That quote should be plastered all over the Wolves lockerroom.

I could argue that Stephenson in the second half did everything in his power to screw things up.
He had a tough half to be sure, Q...but to Thibs' credit, he took him out when it was clear he was hurting us. But as bad as he was in the second half, he was even better in the first. I wouldn't want to be on the court when he, Dunn and Belly are out there...that trip plays really tough.

Re: WTF - Clippers at Wolves GDT
My usual very late takes...
- Rubio. There are some parts of basketball that can't be measured by stats. His effort, intensity, enthusiasm last night was obvious. Maybe Paul was sick, tired, bored, looking forward to the matchup vs. Memphis tonight... whatever it was... Rubio took it to Paul last night. He set the tone and the team followed.
- 29 / 14 / 67%... and it seemed... routine? I know there was some angst about Towns earlier this season. But give the big guy credit for figuring out who/what he is and improving.
- Lance Stephenson is goofy. You just don't quite know what he's going to do. That unorthodox style can work... and look terrible. You just hope for more good than bad when all is said and done.
- The three point shooting remains a problem. Meh. Nothing new there. (Stop pump-faking, Towns!)
- The Clippers really are unlikable. I STILL think that they have a chance if healthy to make one postseason run... there's so much talent there. But how much does their constant agitating/whining actually distract them from the task at hand? Is that part of the team's perpetual problem (other than injuries?)
- The Wolves have now scored the exact same amount as the opposition. But they're 11 games under .500. Conversely, OKC has been outscored but the team is 35 - 29. Same with Atlanta. It's a yearly time-honored tradition in Minnesota. Hopefully, that changes soon... next season?

The problem is floor spacing. Bazz loves to work near the hoop, even when his 3-ball is falling. That's the exact same space Wiggins and KAT are at their best. Rush helps provide our offense floor balance since he almost exclusively stays outside and provides a gravitational pull on the defense.
