I don't think Tyus has hurt us per se, because he does take good care of the ball and generally makes good decisions. But he hasn't really helped as much either, as his shooting/scoring have sort of abandoned him.

The irony is that Rubio now looks by far to be the best shooter and scorer among our three PGs, which is just kind of weird after such a poor start to the season. I imagine he'll come back down to earth too at some point. Hopefully by then Wiggins will have his mojo back!

AP guy was saying Wiggins has looked tired in each of the last two games. Said he hasn't had the usual lift on his jumper. He cited the increased activity on both ends of the court and his minutes as being factors. When I talk about Wig being young relative to his age, I'm referring to his limited lung capacity and overall muscle maturity. He should be able to play the minutes he's getting while maintaining his activity level. I just don't think he has the strength and stamina yet to do it. Another reason I believe we really don't know what his ceiling is yet.

Wolves have played really well lately.

KAT already looks in a league of his own. The scary thing is he isn't even getting 'superstar' calls yet, in facts he's not getting many calls altogether. He's only averaging 5 FTA over his last five games, where in my opinion the way he gets hacked it should be at least double that. He's so good he makes a lot of those shots though and the refs swallow their whistles and don't call the And 1.

How good has Rubio been? This is the Ricky we all wanted to see when we drafted him all those years ago. It's all about chemistry and confidence with him. Thank god we didn't trade him for D Rose or Reggie Jackson.

Towns took 25 field goals before getting to the line for the first time yesterday...

The contrast in how Wall was officiated vs. KAT was pretty startling. I mean, they were almost blowing the whistle in anticipation of Wall being fouled. With KAT.....nothing.

I will say this though. There were a couple of times were Mahinmi just played solid, stout D. He's a big strong dude and when KAT would initiate his move, he would just kind of bounce off him. Those weren't necessarily fouls.

The bigger issue to me was just the contrast in what constituted a foul.

I marvel at how soft KAT's shot is. He can wear out the paint on the rims and still have his shots fall. It's crazy.

No statement here about how big of a baby KA T is perceived to be? You can hear him on a live stream... The guy whines far too much. If he kept his mouth shut he would get more calls...

I can see Wiggins being tired as a reason he isn't flamethrowing those jumpers. He was working hard playing D going after rebounds and loose balls getting deflections and as it's been mentioned Beal and Porter didn't go off.

Towns has been playing like a beast and...he isn't a man yet. How big and strong will he get? I am not sure but he is going to get bigger and stronger. The guy is going to be a beast and his defense has gotten much better this last stretch too.

What a terrific win and not everything went the Wolves way.

Not so sure about the Wall vs. KAT stuff.

I can't remember too many "no way was that a foul" calls vs. Wall. The guy was attacking the rim... and when you're smaller (relatively speaking). I thought most of those fouls were legit.

With Towns, there seemed to be some contact at times... so a few more foul shots seem likely. One thing is that he does initiate a lot of the contact. 25 straight shots without a foul shot is insane for a guy of his ability though. Keep working the officials, Thibs.

Leonard is the only superstar who doesn't bitch all game about calls. Everybody else does. Everybody else. LeBron, Harden, Westbrook, Curry. They all do it. Towns is no different and bitching less is not going to help him get more calls. If anything he needs to pick his spots to step it up more and just get T'd up on occasion. The refs are showing him no respect because he's a big and he's young. It will get better with time, but stopping the bitching all together will net him nothing. Most superstars bitch about calls all game long. It's just part of the NBA.
